    To all the CHUMPEES!!!!!

I know its different still being on the board after the regular season. But hey its 4A football. So look, I'm not saying I'm pulling for Chumperton, because that will never happen. But I will do this.

If I go through Chumperton this week, I will not litter in the city limits....

That's the best I can do.

Was the fan from PNG? or just a random heckler from another school? or possibly a mad parent that little Johnny wasn't in the game?

Dustin Long is the all time wins leader as a PNG QB. In his 3 years he had 30 wins.
Shug is at 29 right now, if we win Friday at NRG, he will be tied. But would be the all time leader if not for the IPAD game....

    D Long was 7-3, 9-2, 14-2
Shug is 11-2, 10,2 and 8-3 as we speak.

So big brother give Shug this info, motivation to get us through that 3rd round!!!!!

Always funny to see some of the ways a thread turns out. I just want to know what the person said to get to him. The rest is irrelevant..

Figured it was time to spew some hate on Chumperton... Ohh the irony of seeing a Chumperton playoff post on the top of the page. And even more ironic the chumpees might even win a playoff game. Say it aint so Joe....

I know nothing about either team but I do not really want too.
The only thing I do know is I never litter, but when I do

I thought  this would be a good time to make this post. Since there should be zero animosity at this point. Shug played his last district game in Purple last night. Throughout his 3 year career, he has taken shots from folks for one reason or the other, basically because of his school, and his high level recruitment. Shug has been nothing but a class act  throughout his PNG career, and has represented the school and district with nothing but class. The term GOAT gets thrown around a lot, and it's always a hard debate.. But in my opinion, he is the most dynamic QB I have seen in years on a football field. In my time only Kendall Briles and Dakari Pearson can compare. And ironically both those guys put burnt orange on as well. In a world full of hate, I think now is the time to show this kid some love. It was a pure joy to watch him. And I hope he does great things at UT, as well as in life.... It's been a privilege to meet his family, and call his big bro a friend.. I posted 3 years ago there would be no QB debate because Shug was the real deal. I. Remember the first time I coached his brother in 7 on 7 and lil Shug showed up catching any ball we threw him on the sidelines, that he was destined for greatness. People laughed, but feel free to scroll back to those posts. So in conclusion, great kid, great family, great athlete... And like it or not he will always bleed purple. For some, you can understand, for others you can't. I'm proud to call him a fellow Indian, and know he will succeed in life. Simple ending.... Honor, Pride, Tradition... That's a hard 3 words to outdo...... and last but not least. Hook Em!

Lets be real, I'm pretty sure that Shug didn't care if he carried the ball 80 times in that game. He was determined to win. He didn't tire out, he didn't shy away from contact. He went beast mode and ran people over. I mean, if I was BF and seen that, I would have done the same thing. As I have stated before, there is way too many Grant Tisdale's in Texas. Without these video game numbers Shug has, he would not be on the top of everyone's radar. Like it or not, he got the job done, and I'm pretty sure, he didn't give one complain after MCM about overuse. So for little Johnny's momma and daddy..... I wish the whole family a

Very interesting take. Lets cut the hubbub. A D1 QB can take you far in the Texas state playoffs. I though Nederland did a good job of making PNG one dimensional. Man press most of the game, Cejas is our only burner. However PNG decided, to hell with the pass, and pulled lineman all night to perfection, and Nederland did not adjust. However, I do think what I made bold in your post, is nothing but a far exaggeration. Nederland does not have a Latulas to pluck anything out of the air. I thought Fernandez fought his butt off all night.

Stattrax, my ploy wasn't about Nederland's defense or one wide receiver from the past who was great going up and plucking a ball out of the air.......to credit the QB. Or, it wasn't about PNG winning the game. Or about how the QB didn't play his butt off.  It was simply about personal team attitudes that you have no idea about.
