Desimated by Graduation, this year's team, now in 6A, looks like they are going to be hammered throughout the year.  College Station put a knot on their heads last night.  I don't even want to know what the score will be when they play North Shore or Atascocita.

With King losing to Magnolia and Dayton being better this year a little shocked to see 34-17.  However, maybe King got the kinks worked out after the Magnolia loss.

Call me crazy, but I think this is the best matchup Crosby could've drawn this late in the playoffs. They run the ball about 90 percent of the time which i think is a good thing for Crosby. Crosby's defensive line is big and physical at the point of attack as some of you heard on Hutto's broadcast, and our defensive backs salivate on coming downhill to play the run. Hutto's qb gained a lot of rushing yards because they put so many people in the pattern you had to cover that it left open running lanes. I don't think that will be the case with Cedar Park, the more physical they try to make it the better it is for Crosby.

Well the sun came up today.  My son and I were at the game.  Yes RP has a very good defense.  Also, It was gutsy on their coaching staff to go for it on 4th down the entire game to keep our offense off the field as much as possible.  RP's O-Line must average close to 300 lbs and 6 ft 3 in or better.  From what I gather they will lose many Seniors after this year.  Good Luck to them on their quest for a State Title.  That being said, I am very proud of our team.  Do not hold your head down.  Use this moment for motivation toward next year.  Today you begin a new journey for next year.

King will be the underdog in every possible upcoming game (Ridge Point, Temple, George Ranch) so they are a true sleeper. I wouldn't bet against them. Ridge Point is in for a war.

I went to all the playoff games for PNG when you made your run at Stephenville back in the day.  Sure would be nice to see some NDN's, Broncos, Cougars, Bulldogs, and other teams in our area at our game.   Let's fill the stands against Ridge Point!

King is legit. Best qb/rb duo ive seen all yr. Defense is small but fast and quick. 

Welcome to the Williams and Brantley show!  I witnessed one of the best QB/RB duos to ever don a King uniform.  The entire team is talented and we finally have a coaching staff that knows what they are doing!  The coaches put players in a position to win.  We are athletic, fast, and football smart.  I'm sure we will be prepared for next week against Ridge.
