  1. Lack of evidence?
  2. I do not recall. Must be lies.
  3. You know what they used to say.... The three scariest sights in the world were a Mexican with a knife, a Black man with a pistol, and a Yankee with a Uhaul. That was back when we could all laugh at each other. But we'd have probably used slurs, so I guess things are better in some ways.
  4. I can honestly say that Kirbyville hasn't been the same since the night Bridge City linebacker Derrick Dearing hospitalized Ty Dennis.... It's like Tank knocked the very soul out of Kirbyville that night and it was carted away by an ambulance, never to be seen again. We accept full responsibility.
  5. I wouldn't say deep, but we lost in the third round in '16. Before that it was the early 2000s. Baseball is king. There's got to be some assistant on that staff who will be willing take the spot and be run off in 3-4 years. We were lucky to land Coach Dubois in 2015.... I doubt BC will find another coach of even his caliber. It's a shame, because there is enough talent to be a consistently decent team down there.
  6. Not me..... I think the guy was going after what he perceived as sex workers. I have heard rumblings that the guy in Boulder this week was targeting certain shoppers based on color.... has anybody else heard anything substantive?
  7. I think it's a power thing.... I mean, there are dudes that wait naked in their hotel rooms for a chance to wave their wang at the housekeeper when she comes in.
  8. That's my opinion, considering that she had a run-in at Office Depot down the road a couple of days later over refusing to wear masks again. [Hidden Content]
  9. Kinda surprised this hasn't popped up being a sports board and all. My thought are these... if somebody pops up making an allegation against a kid that just signed a $140 million contract, you kind of have to take it with a grain of salt. When those allegations start coming from every angle, you then have to start thinking about the whole "smoke/fire" analogy. When 24 different women come out with the same allegation, you then have to wonder how many are just trying to slide in for a quick buck. My thought... Deshuan has access to trainers, chiros, and massage therapists through the team. If he found a therapist that he liked better, then I wouldn't be surprised if he kept using that person outside of the team. BUT, if a dude keeps trolling instagram trying to find dozens of attractive massage therapists and uses them only once... I'm guessing that he likes doing his routine on fresh faces, if you know what I mean. FWIW, I know a massage therapist in Beaumont that carries a .380 into the treatment room and claims to have actually pulled the thing out twice on patients by whom she felt threatened. My OPINION is that the man is a line-crosser. The really impressive thing is watching how the media is doing their best to avoid talking about it. Who do they back? Do they come out in defense of the powerless women or the upwardly mobile young black man? Either way, they're gonna make a bunch of their own angry. Deshaun is basically getting a pass by the media at this point, or the accusers are getting a grave injustice in regards to the lack of publicity.
  10. Yeah.... Sometimes they still stick their heads up. It's annoying because there are some good arguments to be made about abuse of our social safety nets by people of all colors, but somebody has to go and make it a straight-up issue about race.
  11. These guys can't admit.... it's not Trump's fault, it's the fault of those decent people who wouldn't excuse his garbage that are to blame.
  12. Are we now blaming Trump's loss on PED usage? Jeez! Trump got railed... get over it.
  13. The only thing remarkable is that this attack on Asians was done by a white dude. [Hidden Content]
  14. I guess people are “boycotting” CB radios and landline telephones, too.
  15. Because voting for Trump doesn’t make one a Trumper. Believing that he turned water into wine and actually won the election in 2020 like you do makes one a Trumper.
  16. Right... a boycott is a form of a protest. It's done to draw attention, and to force a change. Have you noticed that nobody is like "Hey! Let's all quit watching football and write the team owners and let them know that we won't come back until they force everybody to stand for the anthem!" Because that would be a boycott. Instead you just have a bunch of people saying... "you know, I watch sports to get away from it all... I guess I'm done watching those clowns." That's not a boycott.
  17. Seriously... All it actually says is that the Secretary of State said that unless there are substantial discrepancies, signature verification should be presumed to be correct. In short, inspectors shouldn't say "oh, wait... this Biden vote doesn't have an i dotted like the application...otherwise they're indentical.... throw it out!!!!" It's also important to note that while Michigan law requires signature verification, it doesn't codify the verification process. There is no playbook, they were just winging it from polling place to polling place... until the SOS advised them the best way to proceed, which honestly sounds pretty straightforward to me. In Michigan, election ocials are required to compare the signature on the voter’s mail-in ballot envelope with the “Qualied Voter File” to “determine the genuineness of [the] signature.” Per Michigan’s recent guidance on signature matching, a signature is deemed insucient only if it has “multiple, signicant, and obvious dierences” from the signature on le. On October 7, 2020, Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed a new bill (Senate Bill 0757) that requires election ocials to notify voters within 48 hours of determining that a signature does not match. If the signature is contested less than 48 hours before election day, ocials must notify voters by 8 p.m. the day before the election. Another recent bill (House Bill No. 5991) would require election clerks to notify voters of signature mismatches and provide cure opportunities until 10 days before the election is certied. That bill was referred to the Michigan House Committee on Elections and Ethics on July 23, 2020, but appears unlikely to pass before Election Day. And as always, the article provided absolutely zero evidence of the much bally-hooed "election fraud," just instructions that the Trumpers didn't like because it kept them from throwing out Biden votes.
  18. It is refreshing to see that most of us are in the same vein here.... We agree with the Bank's right to refuse service to those who don't want to wear a mask, and we support a baker's right to refuse service to a gay couple wanting a wedding cake, or disagree with a Halal Butcher being forced to cut up a pig for me.
