I hope are correct . We are improving each week !

O-F has fumbled 5 times lost 2. Had about 7 penilties . We have not changed one thing on offense or defense from week one personel or strategy. We have just took it to them . I also think they were way over rated ! We are getting better every week . Back ups have been in almost all of 4th quarter .

Is his name Reggie Hammonds ? Ok old guys thought y'all needed a little humor !

Kirbyville smaller than us ? I didn't know we played Kirbyville !

We need to get a lot better before we are in Kvilles league but maybe but by the time we play y'all will be .

You nailed it a good measuring stick for us . We are getting better with a new coaching staff . As of to date we have not Played a decent football team . The thing that bothers me is O.F. Size matching up with ours or being bigger and when you play power football that could be a problem . O.F. offense is tough offense to defend . Our defense is more built on speed than size . We are also on the road in the swamp , I look for a short game with all the running , speed beats size . Eagles 20-14 in overtime .... Drive all that lets have fun !

We dominated this game from the get go ! We made a mistake going in for the blow out TD . They stripped the ball from Lockhart at the 5 , lesson learned cover the ball with both hands. Then we got the ball and proceeded to shove it down to their throat . We are learning the offense and it takes a lot of discipline to run it . The kids are getting better at it each week .We finally have group of coaches that have a clue about what they want to do . Been a long time since Lock was here ! GO EAGLES !

How many of these yards came during trash time ? Yards don't mean a thing , it's the score. You score on a short field, int score, special Teams no yards for offense. The cream will rise to the top . It is just game one !

Sometime these big time 6a football coaches have trouble with Newtons simple offense. Looks easy to stop but stopping it is another story ! Lol, When you Coach 6a people don't do crazy things Newton does ,put all players on one side of the line except one ! OOOOPS ! Sorry they have been beating us my entire life . Go purple nightmare ! I get tired of hearing about this coaches system or that coaches system ! You have to adjust your system to fit personnel '!! If Vidor didn't run the ball every play and keep the clock moving , what would the score have been ? I do agree with this there are not a lot of people who don't get to be a Head Coach that long with a losing record. If the people of Vidor are happy let them be .

Coaches coach, players make plays ! Sounds like little old Franklin with their old fashion boring offense ran right through the Rattlers .I have seen Franklin play enough to know it wasn't their high power passing game that loosened up the defense . 38 points to a small 3a , better get things fixed in hurry .

We had CC by about 80- 100lbs a man up up front and crushed them . Some body's going to say no way but that's a fact . They were tiny and their super skilled kids did not play !

We have second team in and running at will .

It's 36-0 at the half . Corrigan looks like a solid JV squad . They have some several players out for different issues. Enough excuses for them we are giving them a old fashion one in every phase of the game .At the end of the half we ran clock down with second team back and scored . Went for two with a Rudy running back . Good job, coach very classy !

30 min from each lightning flash on the meter at 0-10 miles. No prob seeing this popping and flashing. 8:00- 8:15 about right .

Steady rain, no prob, we got 1.3 mil in turf but we're broke singing the blues . Telling Teachers no raise ! Go figure

I was unable to attend but I heard from level headed people we got after them . Crockett is coached by a very successful Coach who has won everywhere he has been in a 30 plus year career. Maybe getting closer to 40 years. If we can play with these types of teams we could really have something here . Tough hill to climb this week but all mountains can be climbed !

Lets be real , we are in new system with a new Coach . He has only had a few weeks to put in his offense and defense . We are playing a perinnial powerhouse in CC that has ran the same system for years . Not saying we couldn't pull it off but it will be along shot against such a great team . We need all the breaks !

Is it the Supt ? Or AD ? If your a AD recommends and Supt says no , AD needs to go ! Sounds like he may be waiting out Supt who is on borrowed time !

First off I would like to say what a great candidate for the job. Second , if the people to be are not hiring good candidates sounds likes Jasper has many problems. Thirdly, if Mixon didn't, bring that program to a top tier program in the state ,coaches like this wouldn't not be looking at it !!
