Hey Cowboy Hoss, Malakoff fell off of defense and Kirbyville moved on it. They are hanging on last slot in offense.

Wow. I am very surprised we're still in the top 5 on defense after giving up 49 to Buna. That's awesome. Thanks for posting this.

  2. Ok ok ok you guys got me...I WAS WRONG..Good game from EC. Seems like their Coaches were a step ahead of Ours All Night. Buna does not utilize there athletes... Buna ran the same play atleast 20 to 30 Times and didn't get no where....what really surprises me is the #7 kid got only 3 or 4 carries and he is one of the Top 3 players on the Team. Silcox is a STUD FROM EC...To Sum it Up...Buna got Outcoached. deep down I know if Kirbyville's Diggles plays a Full game then Kville beats Buna last week..I Tell you all now that You will not see Imagination Hype up the Coogs no more this year. IM DONE..

I stand corrected. You are no coward. Just someone that fell victim to the same thing we all have at some point......the big head. Lol.. You're taking your well-deserved helping of crow very well. I still say Buna will be more than ok heading into the playoffs. Good luck.
  3. He's going to read all of these, but I can just about guarantee that he won't respond. He's a coward. Everyone else is manning up when their team loses after 'guaranteeing' a win, but this one here is curled up under a blanket somewhere sucking his thumb. He probably should delete his acct if he can't take what he has coming. Lol..

  4. I don't think your opinion makes much difference in how the rules work. Good try though, I'm sure you would feel the same way if Kville was in ECs position.

Pull you up a copy of the playoff bracket there hoss. There will be no spots that say "District co-champion #1, District co-champion #2, etc.." There will be a district champion no matter what the 'rules' are. It may very well end up being EC, but it won't be EC, Buna and Kirbyville playing the same team on the same night in the spot reserved for the district champ. If you want a 'participation' ribbon for being a "co-champ", then I'll get you one. Lol..

  5. Ok hang on....I did my math too quick. Lol.. Kirbyville lost by 7 and EC won by 15. If Kirbyville wins by 11 or more over EC, then they would take the district championship. That would put Kirbyville at a plus 4 (win by 11, lose by 7) EC at a plus 4 (won by 15, lose by 11) and Buna at a minus 8 (won by 7, lost by 15) in this 3 way tie. The plus 4 tie between Kirbyville and EC would come to the head to head match-up which would favor Kirbyville. Assuming of course it all went like this. Lol.. *whew* I'm exhausted just typing that.  :P

  6. I have only seen one of these teams play (Buna) and they are a good team no doubt. But they are very beatable. The Kirbyville game was one of those that could have gone either way and started off with Kirbyville dominating. Buna adjusted though͵ and when time ran out after a see-saw second half͵ Buna had 7 more pts. EC will do well to pay attention to the pass AND run and they can win this. Don't make the same mistake Kirbyville did and focus only on the run. I say EC will take Buna by a td.
  7. The black swarm was the black crows swarming in Buna? I'm not talking about players just fans. It just popped in my head and I had to post. LOL Cmon WildcatBacker you can come out of hiding.

I'm here. Been busy....sorry. lol... Kirbyville is as good as advertised. It's just that Buna adjusted very well and we weren't prepared. I'll take my crow for now......Buna deserved this win. But I hope they make it deep enough in the playoffs to face us again. We'll be there͵ and we'll be waiting. Congrats to Buna on a very hard fought game.
  8. To NewtonNation.....the voters were right? How did our loss to Buna 'prove' that? They had us ranked ahead of Buna.....yet they were right? Fact is͵ nobody over-estimated Kirbyville. We just under-estimated Buna's ability to adjust. Buna did an outstanding job of finding a weakness and exploiting it and deserved the win. I hope they win all the way to the quarterfinals where we'll meet them again. That would be the game of the year in my opinion.
  9. I personally feel the winner of this game will be the district champs.  I'm sure EC has something to say about that though.  Seriously can't wait for tomorrow night.  I've heard rumors that since other local teams have bye weeks, they will be at our game, so look for it to be PACKED!

Not trying to slight EC in any way but I agree. This could very well be the district championship that we win tomorrow night. <--- (You see what I did there? Lol..)

  10. 4 years ago almost to the week, WO-S was gearing up to play it's first game in 2 weeks. Two weeks prior, as everyone around here surely remembers, their starting QB Reggie Garrett had passed away on the sidelines of one of their games. It stunned not just the area, but the whole state. The next weeks game was cancelled so when they resumed play, it was a home game for WO-S, and it was against Kirbyville. Oh man I'll never forget it..... ~ WO-S received the opening kickoff and the receiver was tackled. What happened next brought tears and cheers across the whole stadium. The players for both sides took the field but something was a little odd. The play clock started, but the WO-S players just stood there with their hands held out. It took a second to sink in, but it seemed like everyone in the stadium realized what was going on all at the same time. They were holding out one finger on one hand and two fingers on the other...signifying a '12'. That was Reggie's number. They were out there with only 10 players......no one at the QB position.....and were going to let the play clock run down prepared to take a penalty in honor of their fallen teammate. Both bleachers came alive with cheers and crying and applause in approval and appreciation of what was going on. The clock ticked down and the penalty flag was thrown, but in a show of sportsmanship, Kirbyville declined it. It was an awesome thing to see that I'll never forget. I just wanted to share it..

  11. Dude rankings don't Mean Squat...I mean seriously have you guys even played sports...you all seem to know nothin about Football...tell me 1 team worth talkin about that Kirbyville beat this year??

    Bridge City

    Dewyville

    Orangefield

    Kountze

    Anahuac

    Woodville

Kirbyville came out ahead of all of these teams, but all of these teams are worth mentioning because every single player has put 100% effort into playing the game. They have the heart and soul that Texas high school football is all about and deserve recognition no matter the final score. You, imagination5566, have nothing.......except your 'imagination'.
