1. It's only a win if the team you want to win wins otherwise it's a scrimmage!
2. You are right, I get these guys confused now that all my kids are out of school. I need a program bad!
3. Only thing I am hearing is Kemp and a Sophomore to be named at a later date.
4. When we play you guys and he comes in the game why don't you put 11 in the box and lets see if he can throw;D
5. It's called give Mom's address and go to Nederland, give Grandma's address and go to PA.
6. You guys have it all wrong, according to my expert the new superintendent being from Vidor and in an effort to give them a chance moves Neumann to softball and Yeaman to football because she has "reached a higher level recently" than Neumann. Sissy spends the first half of the season trying to find a QB that can throw 90 mph underhanded. There you go guys the state of NHS football and you guys thought we had a QB problem.
7. Before district started he played WR a few times.
8. I have watched him kick many in practice, the thing is it's like QB's they all throw good balls before the game starts but have you ever noticed most of them are not nearly as good when the defense is looking for a piece of them. So it is with kickers, most of them can kick well in practice but when you are in a game and people are coming hard you can lose you focus real fast. Mr. Trahan has the ability to block out all the noise and focus on the ball. Not many people can do this, so he moves into a very small group of people. So back to my original statement, If he kicks many more 48 yard field goals (in game situations) I bet he will suddenly acquire a bunch of relatives! Everybody wants to know those special people that can do things that we dream about.

10.
What....  no LTrain in playoffs? Oh my!
The L-Train got derailed last night by an injury depleted team that just wanted it more. They played a great game they just came up short. Some of their fans may be on the boarder, but you can't question the team effort last night. The Dogs just would not give up even when several players had to come out of the game, the bench stepped up and kept taking it to Lumberton.

Crosby is good, but Nederland is starting to get hot at the right time. I call an upset Ned over Crosby 28-21.
Agreed. We are peeking at a good time. I heard Dionte was sloppy tonight at Lumberton but he will clean his game up. Nederland will take Round 1.
Dionte had extreme pressure in the first half until the O-line got their blocking down. He started to get a little time to throw and our running game started working better so the second half was better.
12.
SFA, Who do you think will win the Lumberton/Ned game? Have you seen Dionte play QB yet? I have been impressed thus far. I think we may end up starting him next year if he keeps playing the way he has the last 2 weeks.
I think Dinote will be your starter next year!
13.

Beard to Dionti will be like a buzzsaw to a big lumbering pine.  TIMBERRRRRRRR.  Too many sacks and interceptions will hurt the dawgs.  It will be a good game, but I think coaching makes the difference in this one.  In the end, Lumberton by 13.  [/qu you have a good point  nederlands qb hasent faced  A PLAYER LIke beard. i think if lumberton holds on to the football we win. fumbles have killed us all year !!!!!!
Beard hasn't faced a QB like Dionte either, name me one other team that has a 6'5" 225 lb QB that is a real DE and knows how to hit you!
14. Its true some tall things are like trees and do fall, and sometimes they turn out to be. Double decker buses and run over you.
15. Lumberton has one little bitty problem on their way to the playoffs, a 6'5" 225 lb problem that is. If I know anything about body language at all watching Dionte the last couple of weeks and I would have to say he would like to be the starting QB next year! You know the one sure way to start in Nederland? Win, simple as that! No let down, no taking lightly, no quit, 4 quarters of Bulldog Ball. Dogs win by 1 or 100, don't matter ;D Oh yea on the way to the bank, buy some Brady stock. I see the recession ending and the Brady stock taking a big leap.
16. With only 8 wins in the history of the competition maybe it has more to do with wanting to win not so much rivalry! Vidor has always played a tough game, I don't expect anything less this year.
17. We threw the ball against LCM in a flood, why will it be different against Vidor? You can't get any wetter than a constant downpour all game long!
18. The reality is, and I know this is not the place to talk facts, but the Dawgs are not the same team that everyone has been looking at. There is a 6' 5" 225 lb reason we are not the same team and if you think he doesn't make a difference maybe you should ask Ryan Brady! I am prediction rain Friday Night, footballs that is, and Vidor better be able to run, not on offense, but defense! There is a new QB in town and he can chunk the rock!
19. One thing for sure Central will have to practice against every style of offense because they can't have any idea who or what will be on the field Friday Night.
20. Not an act of God, a real honest to God effort to sell it. It hasn't happened yet!
21. Driskell wouldn't get up to 200 If you coated him in lead, but he could move the chains. He didn't care if it was up the middle or around the end he just took the ball for a ride.
