Well Raider81 unless you live in Mid-County you don't understand. With both schools just a few miles apart and the years of rivalry it's more like a divorce than just someone changing schools. If he had gone to any other school it wouldn't have made much of a difference but when you defect you aren't going to win many friends.

[/quote] Hey Surfer dud don't judge people unless you know the truth! My mother is near 80 and has supported the Dogs for most of her life. She goes to the games with my wife and I and she hates to leave early but she doesn't want to get knocked down by one of you testosterone laden stadium jockeys that have to run down the stands because they may be late for some after game festivities! Hopefully you will live long enough to get old and have bad knees and we will see how you handle it.

Well it's kind of like this, with two weeks off to think about it our DC didn't have a very good defensive scheme laid out for the game. But unlike you smitty I am not going to beat a dead horse. On offense we don't have any consistency. Which has been a problem for both QB's. We have to come up with some way to keep the offense on the field longer and get points. As far those that think we did better under the old offense you need to flash back a few years and you will find that we were totally predictable under that scheme. The problem is we are not very creative on either side of the ball.

My whole comment is can you live under the same scrutiny that you put him under or are you just one of those that don't do anything and throw rocks at those that do! The only problem I can see is Neumann needs to ban Monte from calling that last play ever again. If I am not mistaken in short yardage situations he is 0 for 3, two times last year on the goal line and one time Friday night.

This team will be your worst nightmare Smitty, most of these guys are Sophomores and they are learning to play varsity and they are going to be real good. So get ready for three years of misery!

As a team the Dogs are young, of the 40 half are Seniors and 10 Sophomores. With injuries to several of the Seniors we are getting younger each week on the field. The great thing is these young Dogs are starting to figure this Varsity stuff out. I don't know which week they will put it all together, but I wouldn't want to be on the other side when they do. Dogs Win!

30 - 8 Nederland Sonnier concussion. A lot of yards on the ground. Don't know the numbers but the running game came alive. GCM had several injuries, none looked to be real serious but with knees and ankles you never know.

Give me a great defense any day, if the other team can't score and you keep them on their end of the field sooner or later they have to screw up. If you give your offense the ball inside the 20 enough times sooner or later they will fall into the end zone. As far as QB goes remember we took Dionte from the defensive line last year and played pretty good. With all the baseball pitchers we have one of them will step up and chunk the ball.
