Based on what you're saying about their defense, is it safe to assume we shouldnt have a problem putting points on the board? I'd like to think we've faced, and beaten tougher defenses. Does this team have good speed, and can they cause problems for us?

Not at all. Like I said Cy Falls QB threw 5 ints. And as crazy as it sounds they were winning a vast majority of the game

I don’t think they’ve faced the overall team speed Brook possesses. That’s including run you into the ground Katy

    Just some info on them:

#4 QB Jalen Milroe (Soph) 6’1” 175 has 1287 yds passing 9 tds and 563 yds and 5 tds rushing (U of H has already offered him)

#24 RB RJ Smith (Jr) 5’11” 170 has 2105 yds rushing and 27 tds (he looked just as good and fast as Strake’s RB #21)

I’ll be at Pappadeaux near NRG around 3:30pm to have a few adult beverages before the game. I assume most people from Beaumont that are visiting or live in Houston will be at the Deaux as well. Just like they old Astrodome Days when one team makes it there, all of BMT are fans and come to the games. If you not from there you probably wouldn’t understand that. I kinda suggested that on my posts in the Strake thread. My aunt and uncle are in their 70s and driving to Htown to watch Katy v North Shore on Friday. Staying overnight and watching the Brook on Saturday. Always exciting this time of year

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, it looks like Bryce Anderson will be moved up to the backup QB position, for this weeks game. Hopefully, if he sees playing time, its because we're way ahead, and not because of injury to LaRavien Elia.

    Huh? What happened

That means they better find a punter and quickly. Field position and special teams are important this time of year

U don’t have a clue about football.  Do u really think Peevey was bound and determined to not let the players experience Nrg because of personal reasons. Shows ur ignorance.

And a again u show ur class by tell someone to shut up.

U do realize that I ve never stated a position on playing at NRG. But yet ur panties in a knot

been supporting west brook for the last five years but u wouldn’t know that given ur a newbie to the forum.

I’m going to take the high road. Not going back to back with some person from West Texas or Lumberton or wherever you from

You have no idea who you talking to. You are the one that said Peevey was against NRG

You are likely Another keyboard tough guy who is probably 5’4” 130 lbs

And it’s not his personal objective.  He s thinking of his team.

    Yeah it’s about the “team”

Let’s pass up on the opportunity to play in NRG because that gives us the best chance to win. Are you serious?

    I hope you’re joking bud

That was clear from the start you weren’t from BMT. So shut up and let these kids, students, parents, faculty, alumni etc enjoy NRG

No need to explain anything to u.  Apparently you ve never played in stadium of that size.

And yes u are off track.  Go back and read your immature response. “Too bad Peevey..... it s not about your personal feelings”.

It obvious you don't know much about what it means for the kids to play in NRG (or Astrodome in my years)

They will have this memory for the rest of their lives. Not just the players, but the Band, Stars, Bruin Bearers, Cheerleaders, students etc

Its apparent to me also that you have a personal relationship Peevey. I'm not bashing him or saying its the athletes playing phenomenal when they win and placing blame on him when they lose. I actually think he does a great job

Its not an immature response. Its me saying too bad his personal objectives of not playing in an NFL stadium

I don't know who you are or where you are from but it's clear from you avatar that you........

Nevermind. What year did your graduate from Brook?

    I'll wait

Personal feelings..... dude your way off track and u don’t have a clue.  He wants to put them in the best situation to win the game.

I see that u wanted Nrg based on ur post from earlier.  So whose got the personal feelings.

So explain to me what’s the best position to  win the game since you have all this figured out? I’m not off track and since you have all the answers please enlighten me. Also please share the scouting report on Tompkins

  7. Nobody is giving WB defense a chance. I went to one game this year (NS)

As I was walking in the stadium, Zach Evans had just broke lose for a 70 yds run (exaggerating a tad bit)

From conversations with people I know they may be the weak link. Hopefully some fried turkey and dressing today will have them boys ready to ball out tomorrow. If it’s not raining I’m there. If it is raining Texan Live will be utilized

This game wiil be determined by WB Defense,  I hope the coaches is smart enough to change thier game plan from the first meeting.  Because SJ gash them up the middle with the run!

Does Brook have anybody on Defense going D1? I looked at the Jesuit scouting report and they look strong on offense

    #81 WR Nathaniel Beal 6'5" 205 (Iowa State) 691 yds 8 tds

    #87 TE Thomas Gordon 6'5" 230 (Northwestern) 532 yds 9 tds

    #12 QB Michael Hansen 6'3" 200 (2226 yds 26td)

    #21 RB Michael Wiley 5'10" 165 (Arizona) 1569 yds 19tds

    #23 Dylan Campbell 5'11" 190 (1294 yds 17tds)

Head Coach is Klay Kubiak. Son of Gary

Beaumont West Brook vs. Strake Jesuit, 7 p.m. Friday, Abshier Stadium

Rematch! Like Huntsville, Strake Jesuit (10-1) is in rare air, with double-digit wins for the first time in its UIL history, and now it’s trying to make it to the third round for only the second time. But first it must beat West Brook (9-2) a second time this season. The two teams met in Week 2, with the Crusaders winning a shootout 55-40 at home. QB Michael Hansen threw for 266 yards and two TDs, RB Dylan Campbell rushed for 216 yards and four TDs and RB Michael Wiley had 138 yards on 27 carries. Campbell and Wiley both are well over the 1,000-yard rushing mark on the season, with 39 combined TDs, and Hansen has 26 TD passes to only two INTs. RB Robert McGrue (147-1,430, 26 TDs) leads the Bruins’ offense.

What position is he playing?  I remember him from his days with the Bulls...

He's a RB. Its obvious he has some talent. Looks like he played his Sophomore year at Tomball in Houston and ran for almost 1600 yards and 13 tds

    That's according to 247 Sports

Also i looked at a slide show from the Jesuit game. Its a shame I didn't go as i live 12 or so miles away from that School

#14 Yowman did play in that game as well when I looked at the pictures
