I think orangefield had a better chance at beating us last year with the set of backs they had than this year despite the score from last year, I know we my not seem as good as last year but again our schedule is a lot diffrent, .......44-13 Newton

We are not worried about anyone!!!!! If Tatum beats us, then they beat us... We picked a tough schedule to help us get ready for district and the post season.... We are not the same team we were last year.... You have to remember, we have not been on a weight program for the last 12 years..... You remember when you were in school, freshman and sophomore year you started hitting the iron and got real strong real quick? That's where we are... We are bigger and stronger than ever.... LCM has 2 tackles that are committed D-1 and our defense shut them down all but 1 play.... WOS doesn't have the size or strength we have.... You do however, have lots of speed.... I believe we have enough speed to beat you guys this year... We have the size, strength, work ethic, heart, skills, and a plan..... I'll take those over a little more speed any day...

I will eat crow on this if I am wrong, but HJ win streak will come to a end when they meet tatum not being mean just being real, HJ should handle Center

Worried bout WOS you better worry bout Tatum opening their woodshed.

.....just my opinion right now but I think Tatum is the better team than WOS, guess I will find out in 2 weeks, but as of now that is my opinion

28-18 was your prediction, Pretty close I guess. I don't know of any Newton fans that thought this would be a Newton Blowout .. I can say I'm proud of the team performance last night , they played hard and hit really hard. I've never seen a team have so many injuries in a game , Henderson was dropping like flies . no Newton player was injured, but clearly out sized Newton still put the hurt on them big boys . There were several bad calls after halftime , one was targeting on a 3rd and long play and for some reason no player was ejected for Newton , then right after that flag was thrown on Coaches . Newton also fumbled the kickoff on a good pooch kick late in the third . Few mistakes away from pulling out a W.

That's not what you guys say when you're beating up on teams like Bridge City...or any of the other bigger schools from this area that you guys usually play.
Now all of the sudden they're bigger..so they were supposed to win.

I think this is what he wants to hear,Newton is 1-2, Newton has won 1 game and has lost 2 games we have a losing record, and we got beat by a team that is north of us (not in SETX)

Just the thought of a small school vs a much bigger school with some talent, Bridge city is in the same division as Henderson, but Henderson will take care of business if we don't watch out
