Actually, he simply asked what a guy from Port Arthur cares about LM people ragging on MC folks. What a vicious circle. I work with people from Central. I have their back and they have mine. Only a certain few like yourself like to stir the pot.

So you are saying that since LC beat LM, and LM beat Nederland, then LC can beat Nederland? Doesn't work that way. One year, Ozen beat Nederland, Nederland beat PNG, PNG beat Ozen....not a good formula. All game are different.

My point is in case you didnt K-N-O-W (hey i can do that to) A strong run team has givin Nederland problems thats my point. And yes GP gets in the play-offs because of their district they wouldnt make it any where else. There does that point it out.

This is the playoffs. Whoever lines up across from us, deserves to be there and we should try our best to take it to them. I refuse to lessen the validity of our wins by belittling the opponent. If for some reason, the opponent is outmatched, then the score should reflect that fact....voila....48-7. It does not, however, indicate that every team in our district could duplicate that effort.

I'll attend the Nederland game without a doubt. Stallworth is a nice stadium and not that far to drive. Anything beats having to go into Houston. I also like the 6:00 p.m. start. I was home by 9:45.

Hard to call this game Everyone new Nederland would beat GP heck the last place team in 22- 4a would have beat them. However LC Is a running team just like waller and Central and Vidor and Lamarque and Dayton. So i see the odds in LC favor but will have to root for the Hometown team.

Just curious Zone, how do you know who can beat who, and how did anyone K-N-O-W that Nederland would win? GP was a run team and we snuffed it out....which begs to ask, just how many teams are not running teams? You can probably name a few, but not any we have played, so what's the point?

How can you say that when GP had BH beat and let it slip away? Our players played their butts off and maybe made it look easy, but they earned everything they got. Nothing is easy in football. The blocks and tackles still have to be made.

Central needs to invision like the "Waterboy". Think of La Marque as being the Bulldogs. If you play like that, you can beat them. That's some high quality H2O.

I'm going to savor this victory a little longer. Then I will give LC some thought. These kids deserve to celebrate because they just played one heckuva game. Total domination.

Couldn't agree more. That was the most complete game I have seen in a while. Talk about total domination. Our kids needed a win like that in a bad way. Everyone had a good game. Let's keep it up. Especially on defense. It was nice to see our defense in their backfield all night. Hats off to that Grogan kid. He's going to be a good one...already is.

Well, that is a matter of opinion, and may be true, but to derive the underdog, you go by records.

Here's why I asked in the first place. It shows La Marque losing to Pearland, but after the El Campo game at the bottom in parentheses it says Pearland and confused me. Sorry.
