I’m really concerned ‘about replenishing our oil reserves that some kook sold off. Engaging in protective conflicts like keeping shipping passages open and halting nuclear proliferation, no matter how high tech our jets have become, they’re not battery powered, so it’s a matter of national security and we already know how concerned the left is when it comes to that. Actually, I think selling off our reserves would strike a nerve on that topic, but alas, it’s the old R and D argument.
