PNG Proud

I, for one, will be doing no smack talking on this one (haven't all year).  I may be dumb,  but I'm not stupid...  I hate the taste of crow.  8)

Sleepy1 made a good point about when Vidor was down.  I remember those yrs.  Something like 44 straight games w/o a win.  Must have been brutal for them.    I'm miserable right now,  but I'm so very optimistic for the future,  I just can't dwell on where we are right now. Some people on here deserve the verbal butt whipping that they are receiving now,  since they are so quick to dish it out.  We all enjoy a bit of smack jousting from time to time,  but it's still hurtful to the kids/players that get on here and read. I hope they don't let what we say discourage them even further...  they work so hard. Hang in there Raiders.  Things can only get better and your community is still solidly behind you.

Having fun GD27?  That's ok.  You know what they say... EVERY dog has it's day.  You KNOW it's just a matter of time. Kick us now,  while we're down,  cuz it won't last forever.

Indeed he does.  I know he has health issues,  and that is what has me concerned.

Hey Soulja,  ya think, with your connections, you could have someone locate the "volume" knob on the PA system?  OMG,  those commercials were deafening!  Just does not need to be THAT loud.  It really takes away from the otherwise awesome stadium experience. 8)

[/quote] He IS good for his age.  But,  I would be concerned that he would not perform up to everyone else's expectations, and be branded no good before he gets a legitimate shot at maturing and playing the way he can down the road. Bottom line is,  every team cycles (except Nederland  ;) ), and we will finish as best as we can and rebound.  It's just a strange position for us,  since we are normally the team to be worried about,  but this yr. we are not. We'll be back...  and so will Coach Faircloth.  :)

Great haul Bullets. I went to Sabine Lake on Sat.,  no birds working as tide died down.  So,  I visited my old faithfu and boated about 20 trout, w/ 10 keepers.  Not a bad day after all.

Rode around Lake Sabine this Sat. afternoon.  Robert Sloan mentioned that birds were working....not today.  All we did was burn fuel and get some fresh air. Anyone else go out this weekend?

I'll say Ned by 17.  Ned has stood the test of fire in pre-season.
