1.
Playing in Vidor for their homecomming, one would think Vidor would have the edge in the numbers. However, I think the importance of the game may influence the number of fans that show up. if one team needs the victory to stay in playoff contention then that team may have more fans show up.
Like stated above,  the visitor side is considerably smaller,  AND,  thus far, PNGISD had only 500 tickets to sell.  They say there will be more on game week,  but most people aren't going to stand for the entire game.
2. That triple tail looks awesome!  Fishing out of Galveston?
3.

... but I already have my two for this year.
grrrrrr
And I have 4 seats................................ for 2 people!      Guess what side!
4. WOW!    What else can you say?  And I thought there was an education deficit statewide!  I'm guessin' they don'  have to give any money to the Robin Hood program that we enjoy so much
5.
So what are the odds of catching a: 1. Mahi (Dolphin, Dorado) 2. Ling (Cobia) 3. Tuna I have been offshore a few times and have caught quite a few fish but never any of those.... which might be some of the best eating. I could imagine springing some money for a decent shot at those.
Ling are easy.  Dolphin... just depends on the wind and weeds. Tuna?  Around here?  Better chances are in LA in the winter. That's been my experience anyway.
6. WOW!  Can't beat the free shrimp.  Sorry about the fuel issues.  That always sux.  I HATE having problems out there.... but then again,  nothing's gonna break down in your driveway!  :-\
Yep, that's it.  Going out Sunday to wet a hook.  Liltex is tagging along.  May have an open spot.  Sorry for the late reply.  I was at the Chicago/Doobie Bros. concert in Houston on Sunday.  How did you do? I just did that,  but there are several "Action Outdoors".  I'm ASSUMING that it is the one in Baytown.

9. Would KILL to make another offshore trip,  but we're bringing my son to church camp on Sunday,  and then headed to Chicago/Doobie Bros. Concert.  Keep me in mind in the future, if you ever need another hand.  I have all my tackle and gear.  When I had my boat, I was out there every weekend that the weather would allow.  :)
10. Yeah,  did that stuff float out of Taylor's or something?
11. Nice fish,  and the water looks really calm!  :)
12. 10-4 on the Lady Fish,  however,  it's been my experience that they are often accompanied by Specks,  so I can tolerate them....for a while.
13. Went to the East jetties on Sun pm.  Looked all over that muddy water fir fish.  Finally picked up 7 trout near the cut,  but we tried everything and everywhere... including TX side and short rigs.  TONS of gafftops and sharks.  :-\
14. Might be interested in that one.  Tough call though.  It's football season and, since I'm an insurance adjuster,  I'm often not home in the fall.  :/
15. Bullets,  a couple of reds and you'd have an awesome slam!
16.
With all this rain any ideas on where to fish tomorrow?
Very good question.  Been wondering that myself.  My first guess would be the jetties for 2 reasons: 1) they were smokin' hot last week 2) The jetties are the farthest away from all of this fresh water influx from the rivers.
17. Actually it had absolutely NOTHING to do with what PAM (still a girl's name) has coming back.  PNG is afraid of NO SCHOOL.  BF has told me personally (& the rest of the Booster Club) why he opted out of that game.  And the parking lot incident was not the issue.  Don't ask.  Not sayin'.
18. Year in and year out,  Neumann,  hands down.
19. In lieu of Faircloth's track record of grooming QB's & RB's, both here and at Permian,  I am not concerned in the least.  It's my understanding that Doty hadn't played QB at all (can't attest to that though), and look what happened.  Faircloth will have them prepared at the right time,  when it REALLY matters, the District run. BTW,  Buddy Garrity,  I know you're a hater and all,  but to say that PNG won't make the playoffs at all could be a very costly running of the mouth  :-X,  depending on how much you're willing to back it up. Should be interesting, no doubt.  Always is!  8)
20.
I watched Sabine Lake slick off in the afternoon and it made me sick...... that I was at work.
THAT really sux.  You'll be tagging them soon enough though,  I'm sure. Going to try to hit them again this weekend  :)
21. Made a trip Sunday afternoon,  after the storms, and WHAT A GOOD CALL IT WAS!  The Gulf slicked off,  ran wide ope all the way,  inside and outside of the jetties.  Then, the 3 of us caught 31 trout...ALL KEEPERS!  I've been fishing 108 years (seems like) and I have NEVER caught solid trout like that.  The real key is live shrimp tho.  We were within shouting distance of another boat who had 1 fish,  when we had 20.... and they got there way before we did.  But,  they were throwing artificials only.  We caught fish the entire time we were there. We put up 20# of filets today!  :P
22. Westend,  that's a really sweet ride.  Looks REAL new.  I think it should take the rough water just fine, as well as shallow water too.  Looks like a pretty heavy boat.  I'd fish the jetties in that boat any time. Congrats!
23.
Going to look for some birds to fish under Monday on Sabine Lake...any ideas on the best place to start???  Where are the better places to launch around Sabine?
Read your post too late to reply.  I hope made it out on Monday.  If so,  how did you do?
24. Be very careful of Lighthouse Cove.  Depending on the tide,  it can get VERY shallow and rip a boat bottom up.
