i totally agree with this post. i think a lot of the sour grapes from the HJ fans come from the fact that not only did the phantom punt directly affect the scoreline, but also affected the HJ gameplan, which later directly affected the scoreline. and then you have a COUPLE of posters that come on and act like it's no big deal, clearly wos was just 3 TDs better, ignoring the massive swing that call made in the game.

Yes calls are part of the game. And thats fine by me. But as a whole the refs have been horrible all year. For mutible games. For mutible teams.

Alright, to the actual game. HJ looked like they were going to get pounded for a while, but they bounced back with a nice TD drive, plus their defense shut down the stangs the entire 2nd quarter, except for whatever you call that last bit. WOS bent but didn't break on a couple of drives, gave up a TD, and then stiffened up as well. Overall a pretty even half, with WOS rightfully in the lead. 14-7 was a fair representation of the 1st half. We'll see what happens in the 2nd half.

Hj didn't touch it...and besides it wasn't even called untill the ball was already spotted for hj..go figure.must be some orange county refs

Yeah? How do you defend that one? The ball goes near your player on the punt, punting teams ball at the spot of the almost encounter.

I'm not saying it touched #1 but he was close and not looking for the ball like he should

The worst of all is the coach throwing his hat to the ground towards the refs and our kids

Wow. Refs rule that the punt touched an HJ player. None of the 8 players from either team within 10 ft of the ball reacted to it. That's a tough one to take.
