This has nothing to do with WOS pre-district scheduling, that speaks for itself year in and year out.

Hate to see my Bearkats go down but glad to see Lamar is putting a respectable team on the field. No worry in Huntsville I cant promise you that

Just another one of the 97988768 threads that we have been suckered into debating about Crosby......
-
Please inform me how playing "down" to a WOS team is a bad thing for any 5A school? Some people need to take a step back and learn a lesson....WOS plays "down" to a Newton team (because they are GOOD doesn't matter what classification) and loses. Guess who goes on to play for a State Championship....maybe Crosby needs to take a note from the WOS coaches, might be playing at NRG instead of watching on the telly

Crosby has great talent (and I'm sure great kids) but man these posters make em hard to root for.

Hoping for another instant classic like last year! Great test for both teams. We will be talking about this game come playoff time using it as a measuring stick versus opponents.
Not looking forward to hearing that dang song all night....DUN, DUN, DUN DUN DUN!!

Games moved to Tomball both Friday
Game 1: 3pm
Game 2: 7pm

They swept Giddings in district play and beat Kolek 1-0 last week, so I imagine they have 1 if not 2 guys that can go get it on the bump. They steal bases (which we will contain) but they have lots of strikeouts on the year which we struggle with. We need to put the ball in play and use our speed on the bases. I might be over thinking but I am a little worried about this round.

Not enough talk on here...just looked at the scouting report for Bellville, kids can play. IMO they give up to many runs to win the series
-
Do we know anything about Bellville?

GO MUSTANGS. <_<
-
Take care of business Stangs!
-
Any stats on them? I saw the scores from their first series but that's it.

Come on Stangs! Hope to see a great game

No one remembers a kid named Deon Beasley? Best HS player I've seen come through WOS.
-
On any other level of baseball give me pitching, in HS give me hitting. You see dominate pitching performances all the time in HS but the result is a loss or no decision because of lack of offense. IMO from watching HS baseball over the years, good hitting can get to good pitching.
-
Curious of some of your thoughts...which would you rather see your team be great at? A great hitting team with poor pitching, or a great pitching team with poor bats?
IMO in HS sports, I would rather have a great hitting team.

TD, what is the reason for the cancelation?

Who is on the bump?
WOS (4-0) vs Richmond Foster (3-1)

Every fan base has their sour apples, some just have more (Crosby)![;) ;)](https://www.setxsports.com/ip/uploads/emoticons/default_wink.png)
I will say if I recall correctly, the majority of WOS posters admitted that Gilmer was the better team after the SC loss. As for the Newton game, (most) admitted that they were the better team (that night)![;) ;)](https://www.setxsports.com/ip/uploads/emoticons/default_wink.png)
