WOW, was Nederland missing any of their players??? Kingwood Park is a ok team. I assumed playing Central & Ozen would prepare Nederland for a deep run in the playoffs, and Nederland Coach would be the difference against Kingwood Park

Hey I have a crazy idea for The Area Round Of The Playoff between Elkins vs Central & Bush vs Ozen Lets play those games in the same Arena. The revenue those two games would generate would be GREAT. It would be a standing room only crowd. Fort Bend ISD VS Beaumont ISD 4 of the Top 10 teams in Texas 5A

Easy win for Central, let's move on with the coin flip for district between Ozen & Central

If Ozen enrollment fells between 480-1099 then UIL should give them an opinion to move down to 4A. If anyone doesn't like the current system please complain to UIL

At the end of the season the district title will go to either Center or Ozen with Nederland bring up the rear.

Please keep in mind there are more public, private and charter schools for kids to choice from in Houston then the smaller towns. HISD is one of the largest school districts in the State of Texas, not to mention the other school districts in the area, Fort Bend ISD, Cypress ISD. 4A, 5A and 6A is basketball

RCS Sports has reported the 7 footer Chris Sodem has withdrawn from Beaumont Central and has moved to Houston. The young man is currently enrolled at Xavier Education Academy, located in the shadows of Rice University. Can anyone from Central confirm this story???

I agree Yates did lose to those teams (Oak Hill, Mater Dei, andFindlay Prep) by a large margin. Coach Wise agreed to play those teams knowing he did not have a team capable of competing with those teams but he wanted his players to get the experience of playing away from Texas. The only difference between Coach Wise (Yates) and Other Schools is Wise was not afraid to leave Texas and play those schools regardless of Yates classification. I'm curious how many of our ranked teams regardless of classification has ever played National Ranked Teams like Oak Hill, Mater Dei, Findley Prep or LaLumiere???
