I'm not convinced that Yates has the guard play to handle Silsbee Press. If and that's a Big If Yates can broke their press the game should be interesting. No excuses for the North Forest Loss, but game 2 this Friday should be a totally different game. It wouldn't surprise me if Coach Wise arranged / scheduled the game against the team from OK. If it was possible Coach Wise would probable attempt to play Oak Hill Academy.

There should be several interesting games this year at The Hoopsgiving Classic. Looking forward to seeing the teams from SA & OK compete against the local teams.

Maybe I missed it in a previous post but can someone explain why Silsbee only brought 5-6 players to this highly anticipated tournament. I understand some of there players are playing football, but what happened to the rest of there players??? The young men that represented Silsbee played exemely good and could have won several games with the amount of players.

Yates will fair OK, rebuilding year. The Communication Program is not as strong like past years.

There were some great AAU games played yesterday, Dawson played there game against Silsbee without a head coach the players sub's themselves in and out the game. AAU at it's best. Some people / parents had an issue with the ref's, I think they call a good game, I understand when your team is losing and the calls are not going your way it's the ref's
