This is a recruiting thread not a bash Ray Woodard thread or say how they need a new coach. Nothing wrong with Ray he knows football a lot of the problems have to do with the kids not executing you ever thank of that?

I have seen WOS play this year and watched Newton get beat by Orangefield, this is not the same Newton team that Orangefield beat or its not the same WOS team I watched play. I believe that if they played ten more times WOS would win ten times. Oh by the way I am not from WOS, I usually pull against them till they get to the playoffs. 

 

 

Well Sir you or correct this is not the same Newton team that played Orangefield if Newton played them 10 more times Newton would beat the bobcats 10 times in a row. I don't believe WOS would beat Newton 10 out of 10 this year though they couldn't block Newton all night up front the QB never could set his feet and make good throws all night

Believe it! I may not like the decisions being made, but I'm not going to discredit the coaching staff either! I was not taking anything away from the players but it old school coaching and sometimes it's not accepted by fans and community. But CT is one of the BEST coaches around and yes this type of coaching wouldn't make it at LCM or BC much less anywhere else.
I take it your not a fan of the current coaching staff? What I state is my own opinion, whether you like it or not it really doesn't matter. To say that I can't be trusted to make an objective statement towards WOS football is laughable! But hey that's your opinion!

 

That type of coaching has worked and is still working in Newton as well.

Read an article on Beaumont enterprise website about the Eagles and I think Coach Johnston hit it on the nose with his comments. I sit in the stands every Friday and listen to all these so called coaches in stands gripping and complaining about everything thinking they know so much. Newton has been winning for a long time with these same coaches and it's worked for many years the kids need to get out of the stands and do what they told or it will be a long season.
