Just curious on a lot of the schools that host playoff games I’m noticing 5a schools playing in smaller 4a venues like Beaumont United playing in Dayton or when Silsbee played Yates in Dayton now united is playing in East chambers no disrespect at all to thes venues but kountze Jasper and even some 3a venues are being used for bigger Schools playoff games I’m surprised no one plays in Silsbee they have a very nice venue even for football games just curious on everyone’s opinion thanks.

Why doesn’t Silsbee host playoff games Football or Basketball seems they have the facilities to do so but the never do I’m sure teams would love to play there.

All around shooters not just 1-2 or 3 players that can shoot the first second and 3rd team players can shoot the rock if they can rebound take care of the ball and hit their free throws they can definitely win State.

You mentioned Bellville and Silsbee that Bellville team was good enough to beat Carthage and did beat Wimberly and Just a few points from being State Champions plus Drelon Miller was Hurt now you Could Schedule some powerhouse 3a Schools or Stay in 5a Schedule Deer park La Porte Friendswood but if they get Smoked by them then what plus it’s very hard to Scramble to get teams to play look what happened to WO-S and Vidor a few years ago I think 2 or 3 teams back out of playing Vidor and at the time before Hickman took over some teams didn’t want to play WO-S because they said they were too physical it’s very hard putting together a non district schedule unless you are willing to travel some teams take what they can get as Nederland football begins to take winning steps and grow the Competition on the schedule will get tougher just be patient my friend.

I was going just about to get off of work and my homeboy just told me he barely found a parking spot he said the gym looked sold out I was surprised I didn’t think it would be that packed.

I’ll take the win need to keep working on rebounding Silsbee didn’t play their best by far but putting up 75 points and getting a 19 point win is good with me.

I’m just getting back from out of town I didn’t know but what happened to Silsbee did they cancel out of this tournament?

Playing that 5a and 6a helped Silsbee win state back in 2017-2018 heck Silsbee played College Park and The Woodlands home and away and the beat the Woodlands Silsbee also lost to SA Wagner by 2 points Wagner was ranked in the nation that year.

Bellville has a realistic chance to win it all

I was always afraid of that situation for Silsbee teams with big 250-maybe even 300 pound linemen and big running backs coming behind that is a almost impossible task to defeat in the NFL I believe that’s how the NY Giants beat that undefeated Tom Brady patriots team in the Superbowl giants front 4 tore up every team’s offensive line and they were able to drop 7 in coverage and made life very difficult but I understand Bellville is peaking at the most perfect time.

Yes I know they did but what madisonville did to them last year has to be a blue print on how to stop them I would think.

Pleasant grove did play Carthage very tough Carthage had to score late again to win and Glen Rose might be waiting for them again.

Well Dave Campbell picked Silsbee to meet Cuero and possibly play Carthage in the state championship I heard on gentlemen on Bally sports say Bellville doesn’t have enough to beat a pleasant grove or Carthage but that’s before pleasant grove got beat earlier.

I think better coaching will beat Bellville in the end obviously the experts across the state is still saying Bellville won’t win it all they do have a really good team though.

Question is can Bellville win it all Carthage may have their hands full after they beat Gilmer they will probably get Glen rose again
