So is their any help from the football team I do understand that this is fairly a young team and they are playing a Strong Schedule but I guess we are used to Silsbee winning some of these games not getting blown out lol this they are playing hard and the Stiff competition will help them towards the 4a playoff run.

What did Silsbee do to beat Texas High and St Thomas that they are not able to do now.

What a shame

A little birdie told me that WO-S defensive line got tore up by La Vega but Silsbee’s defense matched up better with La Vega just limit the turnovers and execute on offense get the lead and hold on also don’t kick to their return men they touched WO-S last week.

All around team win kicker did a great job on extra points and sound defense the little things this was a momentum boost for the Tigers great team win.

3 a #1 Hitchcock vs 4a #2 Silsbee should be a great game.

Funny wasn’t a whole lot of penalties called in the second half as compared to the first half it seemed like all the penalties at the beginning of the game killed Silsbee the rest of the night they couldn’t get anything going.

I thought too that maybe with all the penalties at the beginning of the game through the second quarter that maybe coach smith just said forget it we can’t win here lol I think Silsbee’s band got a penalty for delay of game too much time on the field.

Why is Silsbee running such a vanilla or a bland offense this is district gotta open up the playbook.

That Hitchcock game will say a lot about Silsbee next week after Hitchcock beat Bellville last night.

Had a friend earlier that told me they saw Coach Sig sitting with Coach Travis Williams having a pretty good conversation but I’m sure it was 2 good old coaches enjoying their evening.

Somehow I just feel like they allow teams like this to compete in the UIL to stop teams that can’t bring in players 5 yrs in a row Silsbee should probably have at least maybe 1 state championship out of them 5 yrs then when Silsbee players graduate FF moves to 5 a from 4a and here comes Dallas Kimball who recruited players to try and beat Beaumont United it won’t stop unfortunately it feels like they don’t want Small town teams to win I’m glad Silsbee got the 2 championships when they did.

Hit the 3 as much as possible to get them out of the paint and pay attention when their are lanes to drive they have got to hit every layup opportunity the Tigers got this.
