So if Bellville wins next week do you think they could beat Wimberly or Carthage

Not even Carthage

Pleasant grove did play Carthage very tough Carthage had to score late again to win and Glen Rose might be waiting for them again.

Well Dave Campbell picked Silsbee to meet Cuero and possibly play Carthage in the state championship I heard on gentlemen on Bally sports say Bellville doesn’t have enough to beat a pleasant grove or Carthage but that’s before pleasant grove got beat earlier.

I think better coaching will beat Bellville in the end obviously the experts across the state is still saying Bellville won’t win it all they do have a really good team though.

Question is can Bellville win it all Carthage may have their hands full after they beat Gilmer they will probably get Glen rose again

They may be headed for another Showdown with Glen Rose

Remember sometimes teams play to their competition Silsbee doesn’t waste a lot of energy on teams that they are up on by a lot which has happened quite a few times this year WOS game is a very heated rivalry and a ton of penalties were thrown in that game Silsbee has played 3 straight running teams Jasper Sealy and Gatesville you always play a certain way against teams in you district because teams are very familiar with one another so how did madisonville beat Bellville last year held them to 3 points I know it’s a different season but let the game play out each team has prepared something for each other if Silsbee is heathy on offense it’s going to be difficult for Bellville to stop them drop back in coverage then Silsbee will run the ball don’t get me wrong Bellville is very good but they haven’t been to this round in a long time their is a lot of pressure on them too.

Theirs not too much similarity from last year to this year I’m saying Carthage is not as invincible as they may have been I think PG will play Carthage just as tough as Glen Rose did last season yes it’s a different year but I just saying some of these teams may be closing the gap on catching up to Carthage.

Does no one remember how it took a wing and a prayer for Carthage to beat Glen Rose last year if that fumbled didn’t occur Carthage losses that game so yes PG has a really good chance to win this game.

Jasper may have helped Silsbee playing Sealy and Gatesville who all ran the ball a whole lot more than they threw it should have Silsbee ready to stop the run Silsbee knows who they are facing and what they have to do but Bellville better be ready for Silsbee too.

I understand that but if they were that good they would be talked about in State Championship conversation.

Anything can happen you know you make it sound like they are better than Carthage it sounds like to me that they haven’t played anyone either Silsbee hung 60 on madisonville last time they played them after madisonville beat Bellville last year.

Silsbee has played 3 running teams in a row they won’t be surprised but Bellville has to stop Silsbee also running vs passing it’s going to be a great game

No one has mentioned the health of the tigers yet does anyone know.

Honestly I’m am from Silsbee and I have plenty of confidence in my Tigers but in the back of my mind I’m a little worried about Bellville not a good matchup for Silsbee being so vulnerable to the Running Game right now.

Tigers have to know that a very well coached teal will try these tactics teams that don’t normally step out of that box o guess this is why it seems like Silsbee is always getting into it with everyone good luck To all of our local teams.

Trash talk is bad enough and one thing but late hits that you will never know it it is intentional to really hurt someone or a frustration late hit is totally different it’s really hard to hold your emotions back if it happens once keep playing harder if it keeps happening the refs need to really control things much better discipline is a major part of trying to win a championship it’s almost like you are being bullied and can’t do anything about it but regardless it seems to follow Silsbee and really gives them a bad Reputation Basketball too their should have been a lot more penalty flags thrown and maybe someone getting tossed out of the game that will get a lot of things under control quick and hopefully teach these teams a lesson.

I totally understand but the extra hits and no penalties for except for the blatant hit sealy had late in the game that they did call all I’m saying is I don’t think Silsbee goes into these games looking to cause these issues every game but I guess Silsbee has that reputation so teams will try to bait the in also I’m not saying Silsbee is Squeaky clean by no means but is it a coaching issue that the coaches can’t get a handle on during the heat of battle Silsbee and Jasper had the most awesome game last weekend with no issues at all how can these discipline issues get fixed or can they be fixed.

Curious to know Sealy was able to blast people in the back and seemed to show a lot more physical aggression than Silsbee did but yet it seems Silsbee always sticks out about being undisciplined I know they can have their moments but the announcer on Texan live stated numerous times that sealy got away with a lot of extra actions he said some players were leading with the helmets hitting players I mean that would upset me too it really got out of hands at the end I guess teams really really hate to lose to Silsbee.

I rewatch the game and yes I believe it was #77 he was blocking way downfield he was almost right there with the receiver.

Trust me the Tigers have dealt with Tragedy the last thing they want to do is hurt anyone things can get easily escalated and sometimes people will always speculate when they don’t know their is always trash talk players kicking and hitting each other during pileups but no young man is out there trying to put anyone in the Hospital or seriously hurt anybody they didn’t realize what happened and when they did they began to pray and we are praying for that young man and his family no one wants to see this not even the players.
