It takes time the whole team just got back together but when the dust settles let’s see how lumberton handles themselves in the playoffs this is just a wake up call for Silsbee

Why is it that we have the only district that wants to be different everyone else wants to do what makes the most sense but out district does what doesn’t make sense it’s just backwards.

What happened tigers jumped out like a house of fire but seems like they have cooled off 

Bridge city did beat Port Arthur Memorial earlier this year.

Silsbee had a young man that wanted to return home to play for them years ago and the district voted him out and blocked him from playing for Silsbee which would have given the tigers a good possibility of winning a state title so the question is how can these teams recruit from their entire city with no problems but little towns like Silsbee gets the entire district voting against players transferring sure they have had kids that their parents went to Silsbee but sent them to other schools but when the parents decide to bring them back we get labeled here maybe it’s different in Houston San Antonio and Dallas but here other schools don’t like it their was lots of trouble from other schools when Silsbee won their first state title it should be fair across the board if faith family and Yates and other schools can recruit then why can’t Silsbee I could be wrong but that might be one reason why people get so upset about the recruiting and building super teams.

Yes they held the lead until the about 4:26 to go in the 4th then fell behind by about 7 or 8 points then turn up the heat and had a chance to win just keep building and they will be fine.

Silsbee stole the ball with a chance to tie but the young man went in for a lay up instead of kicking it out for the 3 that’s okay these tigers are very young and very scrappy when Mr Miller gets back they will be pretty solid.

You are absolutely right calling out kids on the team is not acceptable win or lose I stay till the game is over and support my tigers but our tiger fans have understand we are definitely not going to win every game and there’s no need to point the finger they win as a team and community and lose as a team and community but they are our tigers win or lose we should loved them all the same and encouraged them as they begin life after football.

I’m thinking that Silsbee was so close to the State Championship game last year but didn’t get there that people from Silsbee expectations were very high I was there for the Cuero game when it seemed like Silsbee kind of went away from what got them there drayton Taylor was running all over the gobblers on the stretch play but Silsbee kept running up the middle and it frustrated fans in the Wimberly game it seemed like Silsbee went away from what got them there again and it makes it seem like it coaching it’s just seems like Silsbee can never win the big game they usually get there but mostly the results are always the same the Basketball state titles were awesome I have said for years that Silsbee is a Basketball School (my opinion ) but they want football to be just as good teams like Carthage and other teams like WO-S are Football Schools mainly so these areas put a lot of focus and Resources into these programs Silsbee does a great job but they are just not where some of these powerhouse teams are and the fans at Silsbee are either up when they are winning or DOWN and OUT when the lost most fans not all.

Remember last year as soon as Silsbee lost that Saturday the football players were in Nederland and a few players played in that game.

Yes next man up but the next man is no where near as talented as the Starter in a lot of cases yes give them credit but what if it happens to Carthage wouldn’t be just the absolute truth and not an excuse .

But some people say having Covid is an excuse if WO-S had 7 players out then there is nothing they can do about that what if China spring or even Carthage has players out due to COVID and had to Forfeit or play extremely short handed and loss is that an excuse or just the unfortunate truth.

Ok overall let’s not go there HJ has a good team THIS year and Silsbee is loading up for another possible Championship run HJ has always had a great basketball program no excuses but the truth is the truth if Silsbee had its full team and HJ had 8-10 players in football they would say the same thing Silsbee has owned this rivalry every since it started including 2 State titles recently no disrespect HJ but YALL were so happy to beat our JV team everything is not just an Excuse sometimes it’s really the Truth the next set of Tigers you see will be totally different from the ones y’all beat last night I give credit to those young guys for not giving up again HJ has a good team this year but coach sig will have these tigers ready hope to see HJ again in the playoffs.
