Who said the coaches should. I said I would take a coach who works for the kids. Coach Mann asked my son did he want to play football and would he be willing to live in another state. He went to work for him, on his own. He also asked a lot of kids that question. Just because you want to play football doesn't mean you're not focused on academics. I'm saying give me the coach that puts in the extra hours for your kids and yes I sent out video, he went to camps, but Coach Mann got him his opportunity and for that, I thank him.

Where yall at? Now that your in the new 6A. And a new district. What are your thoughts? 

Bottom line is that it is the parents responsibility, but having a guy like Coach Mann work for your child is priceless. Not everyone is 6-5 and runs a 4.4. Good players often get over looked at these awesome camps because they don't have the eye popping numbers. Plus getting a scholarship sometimes depends on needs of certain schools. They like the player, but only have one scholarship for that position. So having a POC like coach Mann building relationships and finding out what these needs are and selling the players, I'll take it over a guy who just wins any day.

Let's get some Nederland folks to respond. I will say during the playoffs last year I was rooting for Dayton and KP. Can't say I was hoping for Summer Creek to win though.

Crosby-Dayton doesn't even come close to the rivalry of PNG-Nederland. You don't see many root for the other team.

Heck it wont surprise me if ol' Jerrah drafts him to bring more attention to Dallas since we currently suck.

In my opinion Dayton is much better at the QB than Crosby because of the game experience difference. We all saw the deer in the headlights in Huntsville, Dayton took Brenham to the limit say a missed extra point. Think about it, any team who loses their starting RB isn't as good with their back up in.
