Just a Dayton hater that likes to call out other Crosby haters.
Oh btw I'm a Crosby hater. Very hard to cheer for them in playoffs. Sat on there side last year when they played PNG in playoffs. Will never do that again. Just don't feel right!😜

If both teams wins tomorrow night, who would've thought when the season started that Nov 7 Crosby and King would come in to this game 18-0? Although King has shown the last few years and what Crosby lost last year I didn't see it coming. Both teams will be really good next year also. Can't wait til Nov 7th.

I'll put my football IQ up against anyone. I'm a Crosby guy now, I've also posted on this site before the Crosby/Dayton is no where near PNG/Nederland. I lived in Groves the first year they joined the STJFL and that rivalry starts early. I don't know much about Crosby history except the 4 years that my son was in the program. The guy at the helm is doing great things there with discipline, accountability, and not only in football, all sports. To me that's keeping kids out of trouble and is making a difference. So it's going in the right direction. It's funny though because last year people that don't like some of the Crosby posters were saying that they were blowing everyone out and weren't battle tested, now this year, they are barely winning, games are too close. Glass is either half full or half empty, just depends on the way you're looking at it I guess.

Hopefully the Crosby C E King game will get a little exposure in the Houston area. Hope for some good weather and all the kiddos come out healthy. Both teams need to take care of business this Friday and then it's on for the District title.

Crosby seems to rely on the defense heavily this year and has come up with huge stops when they needed them most. Much different than in years past. I honestly think Dayton was caught by surprise by King, but they have the best QB and RB combo in our district. That Barbers Hill and Kingwood Park matchup is going to determine a lot as far as playoffs go. Hope everyone from both districts go into the playoffs as healthy as possible and we get to watch some good football. Some tough matchups again though in round 2.

And what's your record the last 5 against Nederland? You're their red headed step child and got sent home last year by Crosby. But I know, you had some quality teams in the 50's and Long was a beast!

C E King in my opinion is the team you don't want to face from 22-5A. Dayton is better than they were the 2nd week of the year and beat the brakes off of Nederland, King was at a different level, best RB and QB combo in this district by far, and I would have to say in your district as well. Dude I seen Seay play when he was 9 yrs old, he didn't need time to get ready!

It's like when you coach a little kids team, the first game of the year it's amazing how far they come compared to the last. All teams get better, but don't give reasons of oh they've improved, heck, the band is better, the cheerleaders are better, oh yeah the football team is better.

I always like how Neverland is the only team that improves over the season. Really, other teams can't get better I guess!Angleton isn't as good this years as years past, imo. And Nederland? They started off 0-3. They weren't that good. Since then, Nederland have transformed and they're a lot better now than earlier.

How many fumbles does GCM have this year, from what I've read and saw them play once, that is their biggest issue.
