I know most of the shoe sponsored team and some of their coaches pretty well.. They do exstensive background check on their coaches. Most of them are High School coaches ,coaching so that eliminates half the problem. I think what BradyB is referring to is kids leaving a mid level organization to go play for another mid level organization who pretty much has the same resume as most mid level teams. At the end of the day there are good and bad ones. My opinion is whether or not they are good or bad they still take time out to be around other ppls kids. Now yes some of these coaches need to clean it up because let's face it 75% of the kids playing are black and we need role models not enablers for our youth jmo.. but to each there won..emphasis shouldn't be solely on Basketball but EDUCATION..the ball has to stop bouncing one day then what are you going to do... it's plenty of dudes in the rec Monday thru Friday still living hoop dreams it's sad.

We are already dealing with a touchy situation involving so called missing money,parents being disgruntled so on and so forth. We know why certain things are the way they are but these kids are trying to make a playoff run ,as much as I would like Coach to be on the sidelines it probably isn't happening anytime this year . Let's put our energy behind the the interim coach and support him as well as the team . These young men deserve that much . To keep shedding light on why when you pretty much know the answer is pointless. I won't give those     Situations the time of day . The kids have adjusted and I think they will do just fine in the playoffs .

Let's see they are 2-2 since Coach Saveat departure and they were 5-2 in the first half of district. Last night they played without Derrian Jones(12ppg 6rpg)& Dotson(10ppg 5 rpg) now if you don't think that accounted for something then I have to question your knowledge. They keyed in on Pender the whole night with dbl and triple we just didn't execute as a team and it happens .I thought they played way better than the Nederland game . Yes they have to make free throws and rebound better let the season play out none of us are sure how it will end. And this message is for these grown men haters out there stop taking about people kids at the games you never know who is around I have thick skin but saying the wrong thing about someone's kids will get you hurt jmo

It's an investigation how long do you think they last. I'm sure they don't get cleared in 3-5 business days as we all would like. It's BISD they will take their sweet time and drag it out . The man is innocent everyone knows it yet and still ppl still question it that's the mind boggling part. No it was lack of hustle thats it ....size doesn't always play a factor in rebounding it's the want to ..

Manvel nor Texas City has no size , Marshall has the 6'7 kid who plays on the perimeter , Elkins has 2 6'6 kids but there coach doesn't play them both. As AAW said Waco may be the team with the Gibson kid . I'm watch a lot of bball not just in SETX either so I know what's out there .

I am surprised at everyone's opinion being that I'm assuming most of you haven't seen any of the teams mentioned in Aggies post play. Yes those teams are pretty good are they better than the teams in 22/5A I don't know. I do know Central,Ozen,Memorial & Nederland could possibly beat any of those teams. Those teams aren't bigger than any of the SETX teams. So size won't be a factor the teams will just have to play and see what happens. Region 3 is wide open there are no clear cut favorites from what I've seen so it's anybody's game. I urge some of to watch some games outside of setx so you can have a more rounded opinion(excluding AAW)

I guess it's true what they say these days you are guilty until PROVEN innocent . Sad times we live in,I completely expect this to be resolved quickly after they gather the so called evidence. Which is why I said ppl can't jump to conclusions Coach Saveat character should never be questioned imo, but I understand the process when accusations are made. Parents have to be patient and trust the process and understand it's a marathon not a sprint.
