It's all good. Hopefully, we'll get another shot at the Lions in the playoffs. Who knows? Maybe we can get you guys on the schedule at some point...
If yall play Henderson in the playoffs there's something fishy going on.

Jasper Takes district if not no lower than 2nd place.
Jasper JV squad was very good so should be good on the varsity level.
Tatum's JV squad was on varsity by district and most started and some were all-district.
The left overs on JV won district.
Freshman won district too.

No need for me to buy that magazine. With these 22-5A predictions, it shows how little they know about football in our area...
Odds are someone from yalls area did it.

I really wish there was a user manual on this thang...
Well anywho, Henderson dude I like your thinking. Will be tough no doubt.

Really- You have to be joking. Div. 2. Five yes that's right, 5 schools out of District 7 in the top 20. That is insane and impossible.
Impossible? How so?

District 7
Atlanta - definitely deserving of TOP 20
Gilmer - dominant for a while now and TOP 5 program in state
Gladewater - very respectable program and on the rise once again
Longview
Spring Hill
Pittsburg - Top 20 team last year and going to be better this year
Texarkana Pleasant Grove - could argue Top 20, but never doubt East Texas
PG is gonna be REALLY good. Only had a couple seniors last season and not sure they started.
GW is iffy to me. Lost most if not all their OL. Still have a good RB and a couple on defense. Kicker might be one of the best in 4A. Also lost OC and OL coach.

Oh goody. I can't wait to learn.

He should make the playoffs.
Rusk don't have a while lot to work with.

There are 1/2 teams that run a version of a spread offense, but not a primary set. I'm from East Tx and appreciate your input but the spread that has been ran in Dayton for the last 22 years, is not "common" or even understood for that matter in the following two districts:
District 7 Atlanta Gilmer Gladewater Longview Spring Hill Pittsburg Texarkana Pleasant Grove
District 8 Diboll Huntington Jasper Rusk Tatum
Gilmer is highlighted because they have defended well against many spread offenses in previous years, even though they are more of a balanced O.
District 8 can't spell SPREAD
Just a hunch here but I do think we are gonna learn how to spell spread this season.
Also, half of district 7 operates out of the spread.

EC can't run with them.
