Not if they establish residency and the district committee rules he did not transfer for athletic reasons. If that is the case, all he will have to sit out is 15 school days which would be the first 3 weeks of the season. He would be eligible to play week 4.
Now if it is ruled that he transferred for athletic reasons, he will have to sit out a year. Of course he could appeal the ruling to the UIL.

Man I sure hope you are wrong about Moreaux.  Such a great kid and a playmaker.   Also I thought if someone transfers that they lose a year of eligibility?

During the live scrimmage I had Hampshire completing one of two passes for 65 yards and rushing the ball eleven times for 39 yards and one touchdown. They had two penalties for 25 yards. 
Kountze had one Int. They rushed the ball eleven times for 99 yards and had one penalty for 15 which negated a real long run by Arnold. 
He earlier had a 68 yards TD in the controlled part of the scrimmage that was called back for a penalty about 15 yards behind where he was running. 

7-0 after the live quarter.. GOOD LUCK HF the rest of the season

In the controlled part Lumberton scored once and recovered 2 fumbles and HJ didn't score any. 
In the live part Lumberton 20 missed first extra point and two interceptions by the same player in back to back HJ series and HJ didn't score any

I have a question. Does Hampshire Fannett scrimmage against Barbers Hill or against Kountze. When is the scrimmage.

from what HF folks are saying is that they have other weapons, not sure how true that is, if true I can see him putting up some yardage and a few TDs from that position, nothing like Corbin or McZeal will do this yr barring injury of course.
