Yea, PAM is not anywhere close to United or BH, unless they have some middle school girls coming up. They still have a speedster at the PG position, but they don’t have any real height like they had with Julia Sion.

PNG created a great atmosphere for their team, band, cheerleaders, Drill team and mascot.
Nederland was missing 2 starters, and PNG’s depth was too much for us.  They are solid!

The Nederland loss hurt them for the playoff race. They are going to have to find a way to win one of the Dayton games. It’s going to be fun to see how this all plays out though. With basically  3 or 4 games left, it’s still anybody’s place 2-5. BH pretty much has first place locked up. BH I think has VIdor, PNG and Cleveland left
PNG still has two teams left in the playoff race in Nederland and PAM, plus BH then Vidor.
PAM still has to finish Dayton game and play them a second time, plus PNG, then I think Vidor and Cleveland
Nederland still has PNG this Friday and I believe BH and Dayton.
Dayton still has PAM the two games, plus Nederland.

IMO the thing to do would be to come together and sort out all ejections and techs, then if the situation or environment is still hostile clear the gym and finish the game with just players and coaches.

Hard fought game for both teams.  Lumberton has a tough squad, we got down too much early and when we finally tied it up we made too many mistakes in the end.  Good team as we expected, we need to rebound Friday against a tough Bridge City.  Second half of this district is going to be tough for everyone, well except for maybe HJ.
Sophomore Aniah Henderson 20 points 11 rebounds
Senior Marlandria Hebert 10 points 14 rebounds.

Huntington is one of the best defensive teams we have played.  This was our first win over them in 6-7 years.

I'm pretty certain that the cons far outweigh the pros in terms of little dribblers.  To be clear, I'm not advocating for ZERO youth basketball experience.  I definitely think that even bad experience can be better than no experience especially in terms of learning some concept of the game.  However, if a kid is relying on little dribbler ONLY for their skills training then they're going to be in a bind in the long run.  I'll guarantee you that there aren't many youth basketball programs that do it the way it should be done.  I personally think that all youth basketball coaches should attend at least one sort of seminar with the school's varsity head coach for ideas, useful drills, and maybe some preferred concepts to focus on every practice.  Maybe even some practice planning itself.  I'm fairly certain that no towns are doing that.  If so, please enlighten me.
I noticed you mentioned HJ.  I would never take anything away from their accomplishments or the volunteers coaching their youth sports.. but.. they have a player on their team with multiple big time D1 offers and another player on their team that had a father who was a varsity head coach for several years.  Is the youth program responsible for ALL of the success they're seeing?  Or do they maybe have some players that spend a huge amount of time working on the game outside of the season?
