From my understanding Central defeated Ozen

PNG won 3-0 against Ozen last night

Nederland won 3-1 against Lumberton last night

Not sure of results of Central vs Vidor and PAM vs Livingston last night

So, The standings at the top

of the district are now

PNG 8-0

Ned 7-1

Lumberton 5-3

then

Winner of Livingston vs PAM would be sitting at 4-4 and the loser sitting at 3-5

Then you have Vidor possibly sitting at 3-5 too.

With Ozen at 0-8, what a change from last year, when you had Ozen fighting for the last and final playoff spot and lost in 5 to PNG to get eliminated in one of the closet games you can imagine.

If a certain PNG WR would actually give a 100% effort Indians would score at will. He missed a for sure TD and when time ran off the clock gave no effort towards a very catchable ball in the endzone! Very disappointing effort on that certain WR!

PNG defeated Sweeny on Thursday and lost to Kinkaid. Then defeated Santa Fe this morning.

PNG just played Barbers Hill and lost 2-0 (26-24 and 27-25). PNG had lead at 24-21 in first set and just couldn't put them away.

Sending prayers to one of the Lumberton Varsity volleyball girls, yesterday in practice had a gruesome accident breaking her ankle or leg (conflicting stories) according to other players in the gym. Praying for quick healing!

Nederland lost to Bellville in 3. 

25-11 for Bellville first game, then Ned won second set in a close one and then Belville won 3rd set in a close game.

Kingwood Park beat PNG in 2 (26-24, 25-18) very competitive and fun match between the two teams.

PNG then won against CE King in 2 and Crosby in 2.

Kingwood Park went on to win against GCM in 2 and then Huffman in 2 to win the tournament.

i do not know the results of the silver bracket.

Local teams I know in silver were:

Ozen, Orangefield, LCM, KP JV, Shadowcreek. I'm not sure of the other three teams.
