Are we seeing a case of sour grapes here? CH has a good club and always does, could Orangefield be a little envious of what CH has going?

Not at all. Why would we? We played great all year and ran into a good team. Just think CH could learn to be humble and be decent ppl and not act like they did. Pretty embarrassing to their community.

  2. It’s nice to have a guy throw 92-96. It also takes a whole team to win ball games. Especially when you start playing teams that are highly ranked. Going 4-0 in the tournament they were in took a whole team. Not just one guy. He would even say that if you asked him. Can’t pitch every game even though I’m sure the coaches would love to have him out there every game. Team pitched great and swung the bats great. Hope to see a lot more of that the rest of the season.

  3. WOS had a down season. Simple as that. I hate it for the kids and coaching staff but I like it for the fans. Worst fans I’ve been around ever.  Team could be up 60-0 and I still would hear fans complain. Hopefully it’ll humble the fans some. I do expect a better season next yr though.

  4. The depth of the staff(Pitching and Lineup) plays a lot into it. Fielding in a big key also. Usually the team with the least errors get the W. Also some teams could very well be on their A game and nothing goes wrong for them. There are a lot of talented teams and then there are some teams that just aren't great.( Trying not to disrespect any team )

    Just two examples:

Silsbee vs WOS game I would say Pitching and depth of lineup. Silsbee is very solid especially if Simmons is on the mound.

OF vs LCM game I think the game would have been a lower scoring game if Landry didn't get hurt. OF is another team with a solid lineup that when they get on a roll they are hard to stop.
