We can win if nobody else believes it. We can never succeed if we don't believe in ourselves. We can, will, and we must win. We will not wait to live our dream. Championship is happening now. Why not us? Why not Friday night? No if we can, no I hope or maybe; owe have made up our minds to become champions. We have a great plan. In October we went into the butt kicking business; and business was good. In November we close the deal. Coach Neece's plan is working.

You should start preparing yourself now for a disappointing Friday night. Is it totally impossible Anahuac wins this game? No, but is more than highly unlikely they win. 49-6 EC.

Anahuac is not trying to win a popularity contest; the prize is a Championship.

I've only seen Anahuac play once. An 18-14 win over Buna. The teams were closely matched and it was a really good game. Anahuac outplayed Buna in the 2nd half for the victory. I also saw EC play Buna last week. It's my opinion that no team in the district is in the same class as EC talent wise, and I don't think its close.

Think about it SmashMouth. Evadale is a 2A club and Kirbyville is one of the weakest 3A teams in the state this year. The Raiders should have blown them out. Now you play Silsbee, which is having problems as of now and Huffman, who has a decent team and 59 points are given up. As far as the players, I think they try, however there just isn’t much talent and if you look at the history of Lumberton football, there are not many winning seasons. Again, looking at the last 2 games, I would say their defense is weak

The Raiders did blow both Evadale and Kirbyville out. The Kirbyville game was I believe 56-7 late in the 3rd when a bad injury to a Kirbyville player resulted in the game not being finished. Facts matter... Lumberton defense held Silsbee in check for the better part of 3 quarters. In the end Silsbee was too talented and made more plays. Also your "Kirbyville is one of the weakest teams in the state" comment is asinine. They just won a district game on Friday night, and played with an undefeated Orangefield team for a half before running out of gas because most of their kids play both ways.

You're silly gogo1734. Silly stuff makes me laugh. Please say some more silly, silly things so I can laugh some more. So we all can laugh at (with) you... I love laughing at (with) you.

A prediction is just a guess. So its silly to think someone has a different prediction than you about a football game, and somehow that bothers you? I bet you've been stuffed in quite a few lockers over your lifetime with that kind of mentality. Please stay in your safe space, where no one has a different opinion than you and all will be ok. I promise. Geez.

If we are using last year as a basis of Lumberton hanging with Silsbee in a low scoring close game, then I have a couple questions:

    1. How many Senior football kids graduated from Lumberton last year? (a lot, if you don’t know the answer...no Hooks or Mason on defense and no Cruse on offense either, btw)

    2. Are Lumberton corners this year better than our corners last year (when Silsbee was, in your words, throwing jump balls over our corners)? If yes, what do you base that on?

    3. If Silsbee’s running attack is better this year, and Silsbee beat Lumberton last year by 3 scores and answers to 1. & 2. above are not favorable towards Lumberton (which they are not), then wouldn’t predicting a low scoring, close game be more of a Hope than a Prediction? I know anything can happen, but if we’re being honest, then how can you not responsibly predict Silsbee by 2+ scores?

Because he didn't. It's his prediction. You have yours, he has his.
