  1. You sure do or else you wouldn't have chosen to view this thread. I hate a hypocrite.
  2. WB never talks to the players or coaches from the other team, just to their own teamates. So far, they've shown more class than every other team they have played. All they do is try and win ballgames, if this is bush league maybe we should ban dugout talk in South East Texas.
  3. West Brook Sterling Kingwood Atascocita Baytown Lee Channelview Humble Memorial
  4. I think Murphy will break the record against Channelview for WB.
  5. That's just it, with the enterprise they claim to be a regional newspaper, not local, so their roundup of "local" districts would be virtually the same article.
  6. OK, we may have Westenditis, whatever that is, but obviously you have smalltownitis along with the rest of South East Texas. No matter where you are from you will support your hometown team. That is all that us "westenders" are trying to do, and it's obvious that you do the same for your school. If the lines were reversed, of course we would have complained about the erro"w"s and walks, but that is part of baseball. Without these the game would be reduced to the likes of football . Anyways, next time you want to bash a team after they win 643, please make sure there were no errors, walks, strikeouts, hits, or runs because then no lines could be reversed by the losing team, if there would be one.
  7. All this and not one mention of WB being in first place by only a game with three left in their own "non" setx district. WB plays baseball too you know, for those of you that have forgotten.
  8. WB aleady has 29 HR this year...three more will break the school single season record. The Brook still has three games left against below average pitching teams this year, so they should break it easily. Hope the bruins don't get too relaxed though and get surprised. You have to keep the intensity high if you want to be district champs bruins, don't let a team like Memorial sneak up on you and spoil your season. Keep the wins coming bruins!!!
  9. I'm from Beaumont and personally like Hardin Jefferson's late run for the playoff's. Four teams definately deserve to be in post season play from that district, but it is what it is. I hope the hawks get in instead of jasper......we'll see though.
  10. Wow, that is a harsh statement. Meaux seems to be an ok coach out at WB, definately NOT the worst I have ever seen. No one kisses his butt either, and from what I can tell...his favorites are naturally all of the pitchers due to the fact that he is the pitching coach. A great assest to the bruin staff this year. WB has needed a third coach to help out for a while now, and Meaux is the perfect man for the job. He should fit in well there for many years to come. Good luck coach Meaux!!!
  11. I was thinking the same thing myself. Must be a new term in in 643's fantasy zero erro"r" and zero walk baseball rules.
  12. No doubt Helmke gets pitcher. I can't believe this is being disputed. This was a must win for the Bulldogs and The kid throws a no hitter. It doesn't matter how you got the outs, just so long as you get them. I still think hitter is Ferguson from WB...or maybe Riley from Woodville, what a great week for these kids.
  13. 643, if you have ever seen a baseball game played without any errors, walks, or hits from both sides let me know...I would love to know which sport you are watching because it definately isn't baseball. And by the way, Josiah Svoboda pitched 3 innings of perfect baseball with 5 k's for WB, I guess that is where the good pitching came in. Murphy also closed the game for the Brook by striking out the side. but I forgot, he did walk 1 batter so that isn't good pitching.
  14. Yeah, this kid is really pitching good right now leading West brook to two must have wins his last two outings against Kingwood and Sterling. Surprised no colleges are after this guy. My guess is he will probably attend a juco and then transfer out to a d1 depending on how good he is. Then from there, who knows...could be the hall of fame ;D.
  15. Yeah, he's quick, but there two players at West Brook that are faster...Tim Ferguson and Bobby Armstrong. These guys can fly! The scouts did mention Fisher to my father tonight though, so they must see something in him.
  16. It's funny how all of this HS baseball means nothing when you step back and look at the big picture. I will definately think before I speak again.
  17. Lucky Guess. Trust me, no brain cells function in this guys head. Have you read some of his posts? They're absured.
  18. Can someone tell me if Ferguson's Homerun has landed yet? I'm trying to find it on my GPS. ;D ;D
  19. Oh Yeah...That Fish kid. The scouts that were there for Cervenka were talking about how fast he was. It seemed that the scouts got a look at someone they weren't expecting to see today.
  20. Tim ferguson hit a homerun to get the ball rolling for WB in the 3rd or 4th inning, all made possible b/c Ferguson missed a sac bunt!!! Bruins eventually scored five that inning. Mark Serna's at bat before Tim's HR was about 12 pitches long that ended in a single to left, which rattled Cervanka and led to the HR. Josiah Svoboda pitched another great game for the Brook tonight, getting rattled in the 4th and 5th, but ended strong for WB and gets the win. If WB wins out, it will be first district title since 95'. Keep the wins coming Bruins. By the way, after putting the first two runners on in the seventh, Murphy came right back with three k's against some of the best hitters in the Houston area to close out the game. Great job David!!!
  21. Jasper takes this one. They'll be hungry for a win after losing to HJ in nine on a bad call by the umpire. Jasper win 7-4.
