Yet, during his tenure, he managed to equal the number of "real" NCs as your school ;) (and play for another). So while he did less with more, it was still more than, well, you know ;)
But to be serious, that would be the distinction. Some kids go with their friends, etc. If it's not official, you are practically telling them they can't go to any cities with universities in them.
In that case I would say pull the offer for sure. He will likely be too dumb to stay eligible. What kind of moron spends their own money to go to college station?? ;)
They likely would have Gordon or Abdullah available when they draft. Or pick up AP as people have suggested. All of which would be a LOT cheaper. RBs are easier to get than an elite wide out like Dez. With a lot shorter shelf life obviously.
Don't disagree. Mack did same crap. Not sure on semantics. Whether he was not considered a commit or offer got pulled. Big difference and heard both versions.
That they did. And when they did, did a good job (I thought) of attacking the paint to penalize the press. I have an extremely strong belief that you have to "punish the press." If someone wants to live by the press, make them die by it (attack the hell out of it when you handle it). Too many pressing teams don't adjust well out of it when you do.
Need to get Myles more involved. More minutes, more touches. Future All Star. Can do a lot with the ball for a 7 footer. Team did a good job of ending the slide against a very good team. May be hope yet.
I agree and I've never understood why USC has for the most part held a recruiting edge. Ucla has a nicer campus, facilities, etc. The USC brand just packs a bigger punch I guess.
It's not rocket science. Of course there's issues. There will be more transfers who were not allowed to play (OL). The issues is there is a coach there now who doesn't put up with BS (and doesn't dance with the players in the locker room after the games). Let's see how it sorts itself out. If nothing else, gotta hand it to a guy who puts integrity first.
