Yes they are. Haven't looked the same on that side of the ball since Poythress got hurt. Kid is a beast on D. As their size, athleticism, and depth, they should be on lock down every game. They need others to step up and lead on defense the way Alex does.

Couple of things: 1) Arkansas way too low at 21 imo. Again, maybe it's the butt whipping they gave us but the last half of the season they looked like a top 10 team and have a ton coming back. 2) When was the last time Texas, A&M and OU were all unranked in a preseason Top 25. Gotta think A&M or OU will actually be in the preseason polls. I would have A&M somewhere in mine I think. Not sure about the land thieves...

Is Oregon the Buffalo Bills of CFB? Luckily we have 4 that get in now. They might have a hard time getting a nod in a 2 team system. It just hasn't come together for them in the big game. Few programs are as consistently impressive as they have been, during the seasons.

Most of the tailgates are in paid parking spots in which you have to pay the Longhorn Foundation to have a spot. This includes all parking on university property on game day. There are no open fields on the 40 acres to park on game day anyway. Much ado about nothing.
