Sport1971!

Proud of Kountze lions...great senior night. On another hand Ethan Franklin 4 innings pitched 12 strikeouts and Austin Marshall 3 innings 9 strikeouts. Not one ball put in play. 21k's baby...now we wait on DP and EC!

As far as Kountze goes...well we have a again a stable of skill players. just name a couple to watch Returning QB's / Tailback Justin Harper and Grayland Arnold.

What time does it start?

Channel six...only has 30% on Saturday...of course you know how that is could be 100% lol

Thanks franchise...and the rest of you guys...sorry but I have been watching a number of those Buna boys play for years, watched them grow from little kids to young men and I am proud of them, just having fun...congrats to OF bobcats.

Pulling for DP but come on man you would to in our shoes here in Kounte...they win, we get the title...kinda gotta understand right? Like I said EC has a lot of great kids and so does DP, it's a shame their has to be an "L" handed out...both teams have fought the good fight!

Buna will help the Bobcats cut down on travel cost this year by taking the third spot in the playoffs...I was gonna say something about sending them home with their tail between their legs but then realized Bobcats are not really blessed in the tail category (no tail just a nub )...lol...sorry! In all seriousness no disrespect to OF but Buna is on a roll and I don't see them slowing their roll...hard train to stop!

Yes I agree...I will say this if Howell is not 90% or better I may very well be wrong, but Howell is very seasoned and I'm gonna stay the course.

Always wrong? I picked KL over EC and was obviously wrong lol...actually I think EC has the best sticks in our district but I just Howell will be extra nasty on Saturday...

Gonna put KL over AP Friday and gonna have to put DP over EC on Saturday...glad it's a Saturday game so the Lions can come watch and live the emotion in living color!

Already see a flaw in your "theory". With East Chambers and Deweyville tied at 7-4, how could East Chambers finish 2nd if Deweyville beats them Friday night? Deweyville would finish 8-4 and EC 7-5.

It is nut how many times have you seen a true catch 22 situation like this...win you possible give KL the title if they win their last game with AP. Loose and your out and HH is KL is second and EC gets the title...wow what options!

I'm sure the kids parents and coaches are plenty capable of handling the disapline and certainly don't need the help of a stranger...I think an adult which behaves in that manner is arrogant and assumptive in their on moral existence...that adult acted as if no one else had the ability to handle the situation. Like I said no one condoned the actions of behavior of the kid. Bottom line there was a much better and less intrusive way to handle that...like wait until the game was over and peacefully approach our coach and in a respectful way let him know about the situation and then allow him to handle it accordingly.

Congrats Bucs, good luck against Deweyville. Now as far as a parent coming over to the Kountze dugout...really...let coaches and officials deal with the players. Iam not putting the stamp of approval on any behavior that is not honoring yourself and family or the game, but keep your place and don't overstep your bounds as a spectator. It seems that is a frequent occurrence at EC and it needs to stop. I have been to every other school in this district and I have only seen parental interference in one place. I am sorry the actions of one individual tainted a nice win by the Bucs...like i said congrats guys and good luck in the playoffs
