White, black, yellow - I don't give a rat's behind what color a person is! And I got news for you - no race has a monopoly on thievery. There is a day coming soon when there won't be race mentioned in these discussions. And I can't wait. Go watch our kids compete with and against each other on the playing fields. I promise you - to most of them, race is a non-issue. Sometimes we can learn a lot from our children...

How can you steal $30,000, agree to give pay it back and do not pass GO & go directly to Jail?? If i steal a certain amount of merchandise or whatever, I go to Jail & depending on the value, the charges range in the degree of Felony. The system ain't flawed is SCREWED up.  It's not fair, but Life ain't Fair.  You can Fool everybody, but you can't Fool GOD ;)

BigCam, I didn't think I could respect your opinions anymore than I already did but I was wrong. You hit the nail with a sledge hammer. Ultimately, whatever Dr Thomas or others did or didn't do, we have to learn from our mistakes. It should be about the kids and we must hold those responsible for them accountable.

I can appreciate the back & forth from BISD supporters & those that don't, it really raises awareness of the unknown things that may or may not happened. The really SAD part of this whole FIASCO is................  Our kids are hurting during this entire process.

Don't know if this has been asked, but what role does the mayor play in this debacle??  How does this much so called corruption goes on in your district for yrs & nobody questions her motives or interests of Beaumont's kids?? She is the leader of the city correct?? Just asking :rolleyes:

Honestly Buddy, he was supposed to be a Titan, but I shift work here in PA. My wife wouldn't commit to the commute everyday.  He loves Ozen & the life lessons he's learned will only prepare him for the future.   PA is still my hometown heroes ;)

Thank you Hippy. We can't just keep mudslinging because the kids are still watching. If we handle things like Adults, maybe the kids will do the same. Something our Administration needs to learn to do. Take ownership & quit finger pointing.  Through it All I still support BISD, but I will not uphold any wrongdoing. There's a BIG difference. "If you don't stand for something, you'll Fall for anything."

I don't give a Damn what name is on the building. I'm concerned with the kids that occupy the building. Very big difference. Too many senseless agendas has us in the predicament in the first place. I'm not saying the name should or shouldn't change, but can we focus on pertinent issues. JMO

Bigcam, it's a shame because I always try to improve my craft in coaching everyday and every year. I try to prepare every kid I coach for the next level of baseball and have had lots of success in doing so but when I announce that I also give training lessons at a very reasonable price to help enhance kids skill level, most prefer to spend their money and time on other things. This sport is an investment probably more so than any other but sometimes I don't think people care to realize this! SMH

I'm a basketball guy, but I know a few things about baseball. Size doesn't matter & it is a skilled sport. You can't pick it up & put it down like many other sports. The problem with Ozen is the same problem we have at our little leagues. Too many Coaches seeking athletes & not teaching skills. My young Son played @ Amelia & Spindle Top & I saw the same things being done at both, not enough teaching or discipline. There aren't enough quality Coaches around to teach, develop, & mold kids. The MESS we call baseball @ Central & Ozen actually started in little league & has morphed in HS & now magnified with the Circus BISD is displaying. The saying goes " the apple doesn't fall far from the tree"
Every Coach your child plays for May not be the best, but if he/she were taught the proper skills as a young kid, we would still see them shine because Players make plays in whatever sport they play. I'm Done

Buddy, I met him his first week on the job. I told my Son he wouldn't get the ball & that's exactly what happened. Many that bought his Bull were saying give him a chance. I questioned his motives & plan from day 1. My 9-10 yr old basketball team worked out harder & execute more than his Teams. This guy & his whole program was a Sham

Trust me Bluedove, but enough is enough with BISD. As I am not a tax payer of BISD I would be pissed at everyone accociated with BISD for allowing a contractor as well as employees to steal MILLIONS from me. They all need to roll no matter the color or creed! White, Black, Red, Blue....etc!!! The kids deserve more!!!

Accountability would be out of character for this Regime; requires responsible Adults. The reality of this is if the kids would have behaved as many of these people have, BISD would have the audacity to suspend/expel the kids for this sort of behavior & track record. SMH
