Josh was very consistent this summer which is a reason the college coaches took notice. And defense? Josh is a smart off ball defender. All in all it does not truly matter who is better. Just that both guys get play next level because they are both great athletes and I enjoyed playing with both of them.

I believed they would've made it regardless of who transferred in. They'd be even better with the kid who transferred to Kelly.

John isn't better individually than the top 6. He can maybe contribute more but that's not to say he is a better individual talent If that makes sense. I believe him to be better than Saladin. Which would make him 7th IMO. Everyone has there own. The only thing Boyd lacks over John is athleticism.

Kountze will will be a state power as long as Grayland Arnold is still lacing up his shoes and does not graduate early. That's a fact. Central will make it back to state because the 7'3 transfer will get approved because why not it's UIL. BS will mop the floors with 1A and will still have to beat the same team they lost to last year. Silsbee will have to beat Navasota to make it to state I would be willing to bet they could do that.

But remember GCM the bigger schools like UH can provide for there players. Emporia State would probably love to do that but don't have the resources. But it also happens in other sports two. I have two close friends one plays D1 basketball for Indiana State and the other D3 ball for McMurry State in Abilene. Indiana State has provided him with at least a few pair of shoes and bookos of clothing! McMurry gave a lot of gear out during season but afterwards only let the players keep a backpack, season shoes, and a shooter shirt. The schools do cause the entitlement issues sometimes but it can be helped by the players not thinking so highly of themselves.
