The seniors on this team deserves the accolades they are getting.They have been through the rough times at Porter.Many are 3 year lettermen and was lucky enough to get Coach Holley to come on board this year.Next year I suspect Porter will unfortunately endure a season like C.E.King is having this year.With the loss of so many seniors,it will be back to mediocrity next year.But Porter is a Topic this year and for these seniors I tip my hat to Ya'll.

I think after the 1st week in October the table will be set for the playoff teams.Dayton vs Humble this week, will help solve Dayton's chances.The top 6 teams Crosby,New Caney,Barbers Hill,Dayton,Humble & Splendora all play each other and can eliminate some of these teams.At the beginning of the season I thought Kingwood Park was going to be a contender.This weeks game with Barbers Hill I thought would be significant,but now it looks like a off week for Barbers Hill. Transfers and playing a lot of underclassman seems to have handcuffed them.Maybe Maples was not the answer for that HC job.I don't know if Splendora has the depth to dodge injuries the whole season and be a contender.Can they lose a Terio Brown or a Mannie Netherly and still beat the others?New Caney & Dayton had QBs injuries this week,can Splendora survive that scenario?There can only be FOUR !

Seems like every year some young man makes that big impression and he has.Inside linebacker I thought would be a question going into the season,but his addition gives the Cougars a very good group.

Sounds like a good game plan.Crosby should be able to handle Porter with the youngster sling the ball.Watching some of the film,where did # 34 Cooper come from.Has he always been at Crosby.?The kid will put a hat on You.
