I did that a few years ago when we played Huffman.  My wife's family actually lives there.  Her brother was actually playing for them,  well he was suited anyway.   We sat on the Huffman side but I wore all my maroon. They lead pretty much the who.e game and I heard about it the whole time.  However we won late in the game and all I had to do was stand up and stick my hands in the air!

I'm no fool. If we win, I'm getting out of dodge.

Carthage doesn't play to win district titles, they are great but we want the ship. As for regular season losses keep in mind we only had ONE undefeated title season. We are known for losing during the regular season. 

We have had lots of growing pains.......bit we still 13-0 looking for 32 in a row

No way I would have told that kid no after that. That's what you call a leader with confidence. I love that mentality.

You Carthage fans need to understand something. Every team fan base has one and Badsanta is our "one".

Soooo....by your logic what did Silsbee people know about the Tigers that Dave Cambell didn't? Silsbee got 0 top 10 preseason votes but they made it to the elite eight. Rankings don't mean a thing. Heck I think Carthage was in the top 10 last year and had no business there.
Apparently a lot if they are not ranked. Please tell me you don't listen to rankings. Even with our "mighty" dawgs we don't care about high rankings. People look at returning starters and base it off that. How Lincoln is not ranked beats the crap out of me. They barely loss to power James Madison and they were very young. Point guard was a freshmen. I'd be very surprised if they don't win it all. Rankings mean nothing. All they do is sell magazines and increase website traffic. 

i know that. The fan was responding to some things that have been said about Carthage fans on this post. That's why I made that statement. Anytime someone says Carthage will win yall say "why are we even playing the game? Give it to Carthage."
As for the get a grip part, how in the heck does a message board make you angry to a point you have to use exclamation marks (yelling)? You may need to get a grip yourself if a message board does this to you. All I've been on here is respectful.

I must admit I'm a little hurt. Henry is my favorite current superstar and I understand this is his school but he didn't have to bring my all time favorite into this.

Carthage has won more Ships than my Cowboys lately, just saying. 

I'm just going to assume I'm one of the posters some are talking about. Well yes I declare a Carthage victory before the coin toss. That's what a prediction is, a declaration of victory for the team you pick. I find it comical that while others make their picks it's ok but as soon as a Carthage fan says that Carthage is better and they will win, it's all of a sudden disrespect. Silsbee is very good no doubt. That's why they are still in it but I think my team is better but for some reason that rubs people the wrong way. Can Silsbee win? Yes, but I just don't see it. One poster even said Carthage people live and die for football and I'm trying to figure out how he came to that conclusion. I guess that's the curse of success. Anytime you pick Carthage to win you're arrogant.

It definitely matters. Practice is very important and running a full practice is even more important. It's an advantage for sure. Not saying it's the end all be all in advantages but it is one.

lol. Who said your team didn't have a chance? I'll break it down. Silsbee has the respect of being a very good and dangerous team. Carthage has the respect of being one of the favorites to win it all
