I agree. But everyone talk about Newton losing Foster Barlow and Brown who spent most of their time on offense. Newton don’t have a problem scoring. What hurt Newton is not replacing Metoyer, Kellum, Paulette, and McGraw. If it’s one thing about Newton. Their defense has been the key to winning. Defense was good with Sylvester but not like it was the last two years.

Hopefully for the fans sake they play close to home.

Voicing your opinion is ok. Tough criticism is haRd to accept. No one is taking from Newton I am a newton alum and you will find no bigger fan. Sometimes other can see what you don’t. A coach/player will always see what was done wrong and what could be done differently and no one has to get upset about. Live and learn is my motto.

In defense mode I see. No one said they were not doing their job. I guess I hit a nerve. Lol.

You can believe that if you want to. Adjustments needed to be made. Can’t get better if no one is willing to admit something is wrong.

I hope your right. The key to winning any game is not just how much you can score. You have got to limit your opponent. Defense has got to step up big time and get to that QB.

Top 3 receivers in their district. All over 400 yards receiving. Silsbee has got to put pressure on the QB to stop that passing game. Can’t let him get that ball off.

From what I’ve heard they pass a lot. QB has passed for over 1500 yards this season.

Newton is doing their best to stay on top. The talent is still there. But coaching style has changed. It’s obvious. New Diana read those plays like they where calling them. Coaches have to be able to recognize that and make adjustments. They are going back to that 2015 season. Neece is truly missed. TW has got to do better if they expect to repeat.
