Why would they do that? Jasper not afraid to play Silsbee. Last years lost was only due to the cheap shot Sells put on Jasper's QB(sells) to knock him out the game. It would have been a good game.

Might not have to go through Carthrage, but they will Cuero. It will be hard for either team to beat.

Silsbee is no match for WOS defense. Coach Hickman wont let that happen. Stop the run and you beat Silsbee. Defense wins championships. Newton and WOS has proven that. Silsbee best stick to basketball. There will be NO State ring in football at least not this year.

This year. They have been known to play dirty. Late intentional hits.

WOS all the way. This is not basketball. West Orange knows how to win in the post season..

Giddings--!! Silsbee has gotten lucky these last few games. Not that good.. They will never beat West Orange or Jasper..

Take it to Silsbee or even Woodville (they have turf)

WOS will beat Jasper this time. Jasper has a couple of injuries. But nevertheless either one will beat Silsbee, if they make to the 4th round.

It was a good run for the Newton Eagles. All season long, the Eagles have been setting themselves up for a loss. The Newton coaches lost the game not the players. They were getting beat and didnt have confidence in their bench to play. you cant not continue to play your best players both ways for 4 quarters. any coach knows this especially when you have bench players that can play just as well if given the chance. All year long Newton has lead 40+ points going into the 3rd and 4th quarters and you still have your best players in the game playing both ways so it is only evident that your bench if given the chance to play wouldnt know what to do.. Football basics..  Newton did NOT make any adjustments as cameron yoe.. Well make a run for it next year.. Hopefully next year favortism want be an issue.. Utilize all your players.... Good luck

Eagels should  pull off a Win. Yoe uses a spread offense. The Newton defense has stopped teague and grandviews offense. this shouldnt be a problem..

Newton dont give up more than 17 points a game and with that they still score over 50 points against their opponent. Is that broken down good enough for you. Yes Newton will Win.. its going to come down to AP and Kirbyville for third.. All AP has to do is win and its theres even if KV wins. they have bet them already this season and same scenario if they both lose.  Woodville is out because they are NOT going to bet Newton... And even if kountze was to win they lost to KVille.

Evidently we are not watching the same game. Because not much substitution going on. And did not say Shorter fumbled the ball more than the others. i said they have a fumbling problem.. there are at least three fumbles a game.. And thats a FACT... Too much favoritism going on...

the bench dont play til bout 3min left in the game. offense stay on the field even when they are on defense.. need to fix all those fumbles your magnificent three does. now thats going to hurt you when you face a more disciplined team. Not these jokers in district..

:). Newton will beat Anahuac. But newton has got to rest their starters when they get up by 40 + points.. Once again Newton coaching staff... Shorter could have been HURT and OUT on that face mask... Newton up 50-10 and he still in the game.. WHY???? Newton has too much talent to let it sit on the bench.. Change up your game... Playoffs are coming and you need them guys... Cant afford to take a chance on one of them getting hurt.. Best believe these teams KNOW your go to guys and will be on them like sugar on the sugarcane...

Good game by Newton. Newton is gonna have to learn when you are up on a team by 50 points rest your starters. There is no reason Dean and Shorter or Johnson should have still been in the game and it almost cost them Shorter... Wake up Coaching staff!! I am sure there are other guys on the team that can play.. if you give them a chance....

Newton will win the game, but if those coaches dont stop the favortism and let the team play and not a select few it will cost them in the long run. Why was Dean still in the game when Newton was up by55 points.. Playoffs are coming and there are other talented teams they will meet in the playoffs cant take that chance of Dean getting hurt or any other valuable player for that matter.
