Yes, it's a done deal. Hopefully the search does not take too long. We do return 8 starters from a top ten defense in the state but have lost a lot in offensive skill positions. I also think there is a good chance we will move back down to 5A in the next alignment with West Fork opening up. We have some good kids but learning a new scheme in a short time does not bode well to repeat as district champs. I think we will compete for a playoff spot but with The Woodlands and Willis returning top flight QB's it will likely be for third or fourth.

I heard today that Coach Reeve from New Caney is leaving and possibly going to El Campo.

Willis is listed in 5A. Should be 6A.

Rain chances increase right at game time. I’m giving some serious thought to watching on TexanLive. Since I am currently so close to the Abe I will make that decision later in the day.

I will be at my lakehouse on north end of Rayburn with family for Thanksgiving. It's about a 20 minute drive to the Abe. I am planning to go see this one Friday evening.

Have to say I told my buddy in the second half we have watched nothing but 6A ball all season. This was a ground game. Your boys looked better in the second half. 15 was the best player on the field. Hopefully y’all have more balance and can also throw more than you showed tonight.

I drove over to Waller to watch Franklin vs Halletsville. 19-0 Franklin at half. Not impressed with either team. Halletsville can’t throw the ball. Franklin has one really good player who will lay the leather.

Caney Creek at New Caney moved to Thursday. I believe it will be at 7.

Had a running clock the entire second half. And I mean it literally took 24 minutes. It started running even between the third and fourth quarters.

We have a cornerback / Kick returner who is also getting some serious offers including Michigan State. A pretty strong junior class as well.

I have been following NC for many years. This is the best team I have seen. The coaching has been very good as well. For the first year in 6A we have a real shot at a perfect regular season. One game at a time but we have already beat the two teams I thought would give us the most problems. Two of the top ranked QB’s in the state in Willis’s Lagway and The Woodlands Mettaur. Conroe may test us but we have them at home. Reescano I believe has 15 TD’s through the first four games.
