I think all three New Caney ISD teams may fall into 5A D1 numbers. At least that is what I have been hearing.

Splendora Cafe and BBQ. Not the best BBQ but other items pretty good. Or you can go to Valley ranch about 5 miles south and have a variety of choices.

New Caney at Cy Ranch Thursday. Volleyball at Grand Oaks Friday, will try and catch the West Fork vs Cleveland game at Randal Reed if I can get there before half time.

Going to Bryan to watch my freshman granddaughter who made varsity play in a volleyball tournament. Will watch NC vs BH on Texanlive.

I lost all four 8/9 seed games.

Just lost my third 8/9 seed game...... I had MS. State.

I went 13/16 yesterday. Missed Louisville, Georgia, and Kansas.

The returning QB for NC decided to focus on baseball and did not return. I don't think this game will be close and if it is then BH will be in for a long year. Just my opinion, but I only see NC winning two games this year and tonight is not one of them.

Out of area: New Caney vs Lake Creek scrimmage. lake Creek has scored 5 times. NC has not got past the thirty. Going to be a long long season. BH should win by a large margin next week. NC still trying to find QB1.

Yes, I was at this game. Tidehaven had a bend but don't break D. Daingerfield was not able to beat them over the top for big plays. Tidehaven gave up the short passes and tackled well. Tidehaven D has had like eight shutouts on the year. The Daingerfield QB made a mistake in OT, he ran out of bounds instead of throwing it away and took a loss, was then sacked on the next play. Tidehaven just played very disciplined the entire game.

Had a good game in NC. Tidehaven over Daingerfield 20-14 in OT.

Maybe but I think it was the wrong call. I have seen a lot worse not called.

NFHS has this game on their schedule. I don't think the schools will be allowed to stream as it's a playoff game.

Woodlands College Park 34 New Caney 27 i won’t bash the new coaches, just leave it there. First time to miss the playoffs in quite a few years. Found a way to tie it at 27 with 1:12 left. Then allow them to drive 75 yards in 5 plays.

Both offenses can put points on the board. If the weather is decent I will be at this game. The sophomore Bishop #7 is a player. He goes both ways and plays on some special teams as well. Rare in 6A. I have Willis 49-38.

Yes, it's a done deal. Hopefully the search does not take too long. We do return 8 starters from a top ten defense in the state but have lost a lot in offensive skill positions. I also think there is a good chance we will move back down to 5A in the next alignment with West Fork opening up. We have some good kids but learning a new scheme in a short time does not bode well to repeat as district champs. I think we will compete for a playoff spot but with The Woodlands and Willis returning top flight QB's it will likely be for third or fourth.

I heard today that Coach Reeve from New Caney is leaving and possibly going to El Campo.

Willis is listed in 5A. Should be 6A.

That was a great game! Both teams played lights out.
