Please read the post again.  No where does it say that UT was interested.  The statement was made that if certain players were to get quicker and stronger that there college would be paid for. 

Tough loss for Hardin.  While they do need all around improvement, giving up 3rd and long and 4th and long has hurt them all year.  Several players, mine included, are excited about the upcoming off season program.  Hardin has lacked in this area for the past 5 years at least.  Fortune-ately, that is about to change.  Major Applewhite already has his eye on a couple of sophomores but has told the AD they need to work on quickness and strength.  We shall see how the off season goes.

It should be a good game.  I'm going with Hardin 30-22.

Ease up on 55. lol.  He's just a hard core Bobkitten fan and most spectators think they can do a better job than the coach.  Gotta admire him for being the fan that he is.

I believe bushpilot was talking about previous game predictions such as Kountze and Anahuac.  Go back and look at the predictions.

I personally know that #76 is extremely fired up for this game.  Delehoussaye will be too much for the kittens.  Hornets win 22-16

Anahuac JV-36 Hardin JV-16 Number 19 returned two fumbles for touchdowns for Anahuac.

If Woodville holds onto the ball and doesn't make the mental mistakes that Hardin did, they will win.  A couple of years ago, Hardin started out 4-0 but finished the season 5-5.  I want the best for Kountze but there's alot of ball to be played.  If Hardin could have kept turnovers to a minimum they would have won the game.  Too many mistakes for any team to overcome.  Some credit needs to go to the Hornet defense as they are very much improved over the past couple of seasons.

Tough loss for the Hornets. Kountze didn't get the 50 that so many predicted.  Least amount of points the lions have scored this year and over half of them were handed to them.  Good luck to both teams next week.

Hardin lost to hd 23-6. 

I can assure everyone that there is not a player on the Hornet team that is afraid of the Lions.  Kountze has played well so far and I am sure Friday night will be no different.  Hardin's offensive line is huge so don't be surprised if they open up some running room for Delahoussaye Friday night.  The quarterback has a good arm and also can run well.  Lookin forward to seeing #65 play Friday night for Kountze.  He's a good kid and I wish him well.

If faith wins the game then Hardin has a good chance of winning as well.  Coach Fortune is a good Christian so maybe God will be on his side Friday night.  Remember, David did slay Goliath.

Newton-77 Warren-7 I hope this motivates the kids from Warren because I would love for them to beat Newton.

A 3and 0 start tells me that Kountze will win. Hornet pride tells me that you can't count the Hornets out.  If the O-Line opens the holes for Delahoussaye, some people may be surprised. Goog luck to both teams. 

I believe they will beat Tarkington but I don't have a hard time seeing them lose to the Horns.

Good overall play from the Hornets.  O-Line play was spectular.
