Newton has struggled, yes there schedule is tough but if you seen the last couple of games you know they shouldn't be even ranked . Need to be worried about beating Orangefield   And next week not letting the WOS game be a total embarrassment to the rest of the State. 

Most of our kids go to college to and we send 1 or 2 a year to Arkansas, Texas, Texas A&M, and of course many go to Mcneese to play football. 
Idk if you ever heard of McNeese West but it's what McNeese calls Newton.  I can understand you ignorance since you obviously don't even know the pulp wood industry has long left these parts . Just noticed I dident answer what the post asked, Newton could have 3 losses coming out of preseason, Tatum, Henderson , WOS , I don't think we will let orangefield squeak by this season, we played Henderson pretty close all game long, like said above they were dropping like flies that game, they had plenty on the sideline to fill the spots, I'm hoping for a better outcome this season in week one vs tatum even if we don't get the win, WOS is going to be head hunting week 5 after the upset last season could be another good one or a really bad one lol

That's what I was thinking after last year it should be , they are both ranked in top ten again and I mean they both went to State . sounds like it should happen .

WOS lost.period.If a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his a$$ everytime he hops.Everyone entitled to their own opinion as to what would happen when the Eagles and WOS or CC meet again but the facts are in place till that time comes.I wish WOS and all our local teams the best going into the playoffs.

Watered down, Texas high school football playoffs are a joke .. They split up the divisions so much that a lot of good games will never be seen and the level of competition has dropped off . Years from now they will look back and realize there greed destroyed high school football in Texas. State titles worth less than ever and playoff appearances mean nothing . ($$$$$ root of all evil)

They should just give up on polls they don't do enough research to support them, they end up being nothing but a joke .
