I hope LCM does well this year. But as far as the coaching staff, Peevey and Breaux and staff have totally changed the culture for all LCM. I know their doing everything possible to win and develop great young men and women. There should be no complaints. It’s so much better now.

It just would be better to explore playing other teams. For both schools. There is no good reasoning it is a must to put on the schedule. Doing the same thing year after year is obviously not helping either school

Exactly it’s not helping either team . People were leaving game in 3rd quarter. Some people got in game in 2nd quarter and left in 3rd.

It’s everything l. LCM brought a decent but not large crowd. Could not get in game till 2 nd quarter. The pics are on FB. I just want LCM fans to think about right now and think how much better are they right now. There are plenty of quality teams to play.

I hope after tonight everyone understands why we should take WOS off the LCM schedule. Players injured! Unorganized at the gate some people didn’t get in till 2nd quarter and it’s not crowded. Targeting. WOS coaches never said a word to the players. It’s not a rivalry or a staple game. Take WOS off the schedule!!! How did this game help LCM?

Why would LCM continue to put WOS on schedule, for the simple reason they wouldn’t switch home and away for the year. When their crosstown friends needed more time to finish field. LCM would have switched instantly. There are plenty of quality teams to play. I personally root for both when in playoffs. But to say it’s a rivalry or orange bowl game, or staple game, is not true. This game does not help LCM. LCM plays no other teams like WOS.

Interesting question. None on varsity I know of. I do know some in past who have started on LCM Varsity and the next year started in VHS

I’m just saying it’s not a rivalry. Find another good team. Vidor took them off already. Just scrimmage them. Last year when our field wasn’t ready they would not even swap home and away from 1 year to another. We had to play at BC. Not signing off on kids, All coaches gripe but why hold a kid back that does not want to play in your program. Scared to lose player to crosstown. Why should LCM be obligated to schedule them. Again play another good team.

LCM in my opinion after this year should take WOS off the schedule. It is not a rivalry. It does not help LCM win or lose. For this week I’m hoping for a good game that will help both teams rest of year. Go LCM

Absolutely good luck this week to PNG, both of my nephews played for PNG loved the atmosphere. That’s all I have to go by is the mutual scrimmage. I know our district is not the 5a y’all play in. PNG is good this year and I wish them the best!

I am glad though from reading these post that we have the Coaches to make the proper decisions on who starts and what the plan is. If the other players were better they would start. I hope the people making comments about those things know the coaches know who everyone is on this site. Myself even though my son is done with Bear football support whoever starts next year and wish the Beats the best.

How about be happy for what the Sr. Class was part of, two winning seasons. The Sr class were 17-8 and played in 25 games over two years. Yes I want to win also. I do hope the best in future for the Bears. But I couldn’t be more happier for the boys. For those who think it’s easy to take criticism from arm chair QBs and dads who think there kids should be QB RB or whatever get ready for this sight to criticize them when their in there. The starting QB and RB might be WOS transfers next year. Get ready for that! There’s 4 guys going for QB alone.

Mathews is a great coach, Peevey is a great coach! Peevey took LCM to 4th round this year. Vidor has not been there since 1964. Im sure he would rather go to 4th round, than get coach of the year.I know I would. Either way both coaches do a great job.
