MAn you do not know what you are talking about then. They are all from Silsbee and have played together their whole life. Go check the little dribbler national championship pictures...

They've been playing together since bush, McCain, and Tyler where 6 year's old. Bush has always lived in silsbee although he did attend legacy for his jr high year's. Like Brady said check silsbee LIttle Dribblers pictures I can assure you you'll see him in quite a few

Well, it's a free country.  They can give it a go.  But if it was me?  I'd have called Coach King at Argyle Saturday night.  I'd be studying the Argyle/Silsbee game closer that Pasture studied microbes.  I'd choreograph this thing like the director of the Bolshoi Ballet choreographs Swan Lake trying to duplicate what happened last year in that semifinal - except for that last shot of course.  I'd move that about an inch and a half to the left.

One problem with studying Argyle film, it didn't include footage of a 6'4 guard who handles the ball as an elite point guard. Devon can penetrate and get to the basketball anytime he wants to. Not only does he handle the ball well he's also a very crafty finisher at the rim a big man's nightmare!

  3. Silsbee Little Dribblers will be hosting a warm-up tournament for boy's and girl's April 6-8. Little Dribbler rules will apply. Tournament cost will be $100.00 per team all interested should contact Ricky Maze at 767-4647

    Tamika Renfro at 466-1503

    John Adams at 201-1665

  4. Really!!?? We are talking about a kids life (future) not his livelihood. The school has made a decision rather we like it or not it is what it is. The thing to do now is to help him not make decisions like this OFF the court. Devon is a very smart kid and basketball is his free education ride in my eye's. He will bounce back and I pray a better young man than he's obviously shown lately. He has accepted his punishment and is moving forward to become a better person how about trying to forgive him and help him along the way.

  5. There is no excuse or place for fighting on the basketball court! #3 has accepted responsibility for his actions and willing or not he will accept what the punishment will be. I for one will be more involved in helping him become a better person than what his recent actions have portrayed him as. As much as I and the city of silsbee wants him and the team to make history we want him to be the best person he can be first. Win or lose I bleed maroon and white but there are things that are bigger than basketball, this is definitely one of them.

  6. Silsbee has one of the best  teams in the state regardless of classification. I've watched these kids play together since they were 6-7 year old boy's (with the exception of the two sr transfers) and they've always been special and will play up to what ever level of competition they face. They have got to play disciplined basketball on the court and trust each other like they always have. Learn to leave the arguing with officials to the coaches and they will be just fine. I do look for coach Sig to tighten the reins on them from here on out just to reassure them that he's in control.
