You are right Whsalum,  He is a great kid and a pleasure to have around.  I feel for him and would hate to see him leave.  He is well liked by the teams and I know they wish he would stay and finish with them. 

Will U.I.L allow bballer08 to play for Spurger, since he played on the Warren team this season?

At best he would have to wait 15 days.  But you can't move for athletic reasons and I believe he would have to get a release from Warren.  There are several other factors involved here.  Was he on the varsity or jv? Did he actually play in a game?  In what School district does he reside?  And the most important question, WHY?

Big Sandy will have the same situation that Warren faced, Woodville can go about 5 deep and not drop off much.  They put steady pressure on the ball.  Warren handled it well but needs to be in a little better shape. I'm sure Carter will have them there in a few weeks.

Great Job Warriors!!!!! And Folks, this bunch hasn't even hit its stride!!!!  There is a lot of well coached talent on this team.   Sorry about this WARFAN !!! ( He doesn't like for me to Publicize their potential).

subject: Warren this season, is the reason, I do not believe he is from Spurger.

He had indicated he was a Warren player on another post. But he could not be on the varsity or JV and have been at the Spurger/Chester game.  :-\

Before the game one of Jasper's coaches said they had 3 starters missing,  After the game He said he had 5 missing.  Sound like a couple could have lost their position.  Anyway I got a good laugh out of it. ;D

That's what happened in Warren.  However, I don't know if Jennings would have been a starter for this team.  He could have given some good minutes and we wish he would have played. 

This should be a good game.  When and where is it?

My Warriors looked much better tonight.  Still a lot of football out there, but they are getting there.  The bench got some good work tonight.  Jasper has some key players in football but they were a good test with some real speed.  Keep up the work guys,  we got WOODVILLE  Tuesday and you know what that means!

No matter who warren has coming back from last year they didnt have anyone that could compete with Tramain Thomas or the rest of the E.C. b-ball team. Even the players they lost couldn't compete what exactly makes you'll think they can this year?

They competeded last year.  EC took 2 of 3 with no blowouts. But this year EC doesn't have the experienced shooters they had last year, and Warren does.  This will be a huge difference.  When Thomas was stopped (which I admit was not often) he had much help on the outside.  They are gone. There may have some guys moving up but there is no substitute for experience.  Nash, Sims, McBee, Swinney, Andrews and Jennings have all been varsity starters for 2 to 3 years,  Riley, Young, Blackshear and Hulett were also on the varsity. And this year Warren will have a deep bench for a change. Warren will be Okay and are not scared of TT anymore.

I know it was just a scrimmage. 3 quarters played Spurger 52 Warren 20.  Anyone that seen this game give me your opinion.

Warren had no practices,  2 starter were absent and Spurger has been practicing since school began.  Give Warren a week or two to get the ends off the ball.  They will be O'Kay.  Woodville was in the same situation they were missing a bunch of players including the coach.  Spurger always starts great, they have no football.  It will more than even out.

Warren will have 9 seniors,  7 with varsity experience, 5 starters returning.  They will also have 3 juniors with varsity experience.  24-8 last year. 

Coach Foster always plays a hard none dist games,w and l mean nothing,before dist.start ;D ;D ;D ;D

yep yep, and that's why warren has uped the ante' in our pre-district games.
