Yes scrimmage. Coldspring and Jasper scrimmaged this year. They do a live round at the end, and Coldspring handled Jasper easily. With the two brothers going head to head it was to see who was better! -
No way Jasper is better than Navasota. Coldspring handled Jasper easily in the scrimmage and got hammered by Navasota.

Half of our new district is listed. The only 2 that didn't make playoffs are included. Guess East Texas football in their case isn't that great. -
FYI, Chapel Hill's opponents record is 49-57. Navasota's is 45-59.
It's amazing how we always think the other team is weak because of the people they have played, but always think our team has only beat 8 or 10 state champions. -

Sounds like a good match up. Should be interesting game. If Tatum wins they could end up playing most of those teams again on their way to state. That would be interesting to see.

What should we expect from Tatum? Passing or running team? Where is their strength, offense, defense, or both? Have they blown out people in their wins, or were they close games?

Was Lorena that good or did CS play bad or what?
Gave up two big pass plays that Lorena got 14 points off of. Complete blown coverage on both. Coldspring punting game was horrible. Kicker missed the ball on first punt so Lorena got the ball inside Coldspring 20. Then had a snap over the punters head to give Lorena the ball at about the 30. Coldspring offense looked sick. I think we only ran 3 or 4 different plays all night. Not sure if it was because the plays were working or Barbay was holding some back. Gonna have to keep their foot on the gas petal. Kids seemed to get a 21-7 lead and think the game was over. Let Lorena crawl back into the game. Coldspring offense hasn't been as dominant this year. It is their defense that has been the dominant force. We will not blow many teams out, but will be around till the end of the game with a chance to win all of them. I would guess our defense has scored between 1/4 to 1/2 of our points this year! -

Oh no, #32 does a little too much dancing after plays for me, but he has never been as trashy as this kid has. So far this year, this one has received several unsportsmanlike penalties for his mouth, gave a Huntsville player the bird with both hands in our first game, and tonight taunted the Lorena fans when we took the victory formation to run out the clock. He is constantly mouthing during the game, and cannot seem to control himself. Just needs to shut up and play ball. -
We need to play football and quit celebrating after every play, close our mouths, and learn to win with class! The display by one of our players at the end was uncalled for. He had a great game and could have left the field like a champion. Instead he chose to make himself, his family, team, school, and community look like trash! I have never been so angry and disappointed in a young man as I was with him. He is starting to think he is bigger than the team. Very disappointing way to end a great hard fought game.
