I once went to a game in Roscoe (West of Sweetwater) and the Jaycee's had to come out in between quarters and look for and remove Rattlesnakes from the end zones.

Certain folk cant just recognize success as in a state title if they never obtained it, they act like the bitter side-chick mad cause they getting Taco Bell and the main chick getting Pappadeauxs, is what it is.

If my calculations are correct (and they often are not...lol) Region 1 has 3 teams at NRG, Region 2 has 7 teams, Region 3 has 6 teams, and Region 4 has 4 teams.
After day 1, Region 1 is 2-0 (1.00), Region 2 is 1-1 (.500), Region 3 is 0-2 (0.00), and Region 4 is 1-1 (.500).
Don't know that this is relevant to anything....

Refugio from games i saw when they loose or loosing tend too get goonish and emotional.  Its all good when your winning but when advertisty comes in that is where good coaching and g ood players make adjustments and not mistakes .

Refugio hasn't dominated their opponents as much as they have in the past. Still a very good and dangerous football team. If Lovelady can avoid giving up the big play they will have a chance. Refugio will no doubt be the favorite but Lovelady didn't go 14-0 and make it to the semis by being a bad or mediocre team.
Seize the day, take your shot, and let the chips fall where they may!!.....GO LIONS!!!

i will agree to a point Mr. Buddy Garrity. Until you name is on that trophy then bulletin boards are all we got. You have to play to get to NRG. It is just all talk and guess on how well either team will play on game day. 

If yall looking for bulletin board material at this point of the year from an opponent something is wrong. The bulletin board material is that trophy at NRG, just saying. 

I think they are in Cuero and the surrounding areas. It is just a guess. They could be in Gilmer or Celina as well.

They have had their best season ever and I don't think anyone saw it coming.  Hope they can knock off the powerhouse Refugio.
