BUT, after that the Indians will be battle tested and ready for a run in district. If they win in non-district, well get ready 204A, there will be a battle for the 4th spot.
They will beat WO-S.  ;)
remember, we have a depot burger on this. ;)

We hired a coach for a reason and we let him do his job.
I don't buy it.  Every school has parents that want to influence the coach in some way.  The difference is whether or not the coach allows that to happen.
I agree 100%.

Believe it or not it's pretty common place for kids to do music while in college , it's not weird to see makeshift studios in dorms and apartments. This guy was undoubtedly pretty good and probably got a handsome advance from the producer that requested his services. I guess he thinks a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush.
in three years he could also be out of shape, heavier, slower and broke because no one bought in 100% to his rap career. then what? passing up a scholarship and a chance to further ones education is stupid.
 4. sounds like another 19-4a is better that 20-4a thread. ::)
 5.
Play everything.  Got only one chance to go through school.  Might as well do it all.
agree. and some sports actually help you progress forward in the one you may be best at.
 6. I know what we lost and I know what we got coming back, moving up and being born. for those that don't, just sleep on us.

I know they have Seau and Krautz working at WR, and they have some linemen coming back, as their Def has quite a few coming back too. They should be the team to beat in 20-4A. But, you never know....
they are. after 2 straight DC'S, they have a big ole X on their back.
Quirante was yalls whole team......can they fill his shoes?
no, he was a big part of the team. as far as filling his shoes, you'll just have to way and see.

I returned her back to the lake. she was fun to catch.
would've liked to see what that one weighed a month and a half ago.  she's got that kinda saggy look of a big bass that's recently layed a bunch of eggs.  bet she wouldve been close to 10 if you'd caught her full of them.
yeah, we wondered the same thing. too bad I couldn't have caught her during the tourney last month.
That is part of the determination parents have to make when they homeschool.  I don't think they should be able to opt out of the school community they claim they want to represent and then demand that they be included in supplemental activities they deem worthy of their participation.  They shouldn't be able to have it both ways.
I understand your point, I just don't see making the kid pay for a decision that the he or she didn't have a choice in.
I can see what you are saying about the kids suffering, but their parents are making the choice for them not to have those opportunities, not the school district and community.  It just kind of irritates me that these schools aren't good enough for their kids to attend, but they demand the "right" to have the name of the inadequate school on the front of their jerseys.  Something about that just doesn't sit right with me. Not to mention the opportunities for recruiting, grade fraud and outright cheating that this opens the door to.  I can just see this is being a way to get around transfer, attendance and grade requirements for some kids and programs.  This is a bad, bad idea.
maybe it has nothing to do with the school. maybe you have an overprotective parent that had bad experiences and do not want to subject their kid to the possibility of experiencing the same. be it more often than not it's probably not the case, but it is a possibility.

 15. hmm! Willis gave up 367 pts. and scored 167 with 42 of those against Waller. What was impressive about this kid on either side of the ball. and i'm only asking a question, not knocking on the player. maybe he scored all the points and had 12 ints. idk.
 16.
my pick is 7-3. Tough Predistrict and Nederland. But you never know.
so your saying the young Indians will go 6-1 in district losing only to Ned?
 17. anyone know the last time two brothers went to the same college at the same time to play ball? or is this a first? I know brothers have attended the same school, but at different times?

I aint never heard of that there word bfo. ;D
You're being funny but you know exactly what I mean. Once the season starts there's going to be people posting on here that write like my 4 year old. One guy tried to call me and idiot and spelled it i-d-i-u-t. I thought he was trying to insult Smokin and just misspelled Iniut until I sounded it out. I guess everyone isn't blessed to be from Eastgate. :)
yep, I was being funny at your expense. AND I have to agree with you as far as certain brain dead posts. BUT, you are misinformed in one aspect and so is Coach C. we have 1 computer in Vidor. but it's a SUPER computer. ;D it's watching you right now........... ;)

 23. as for you topic. the only challenge I see for SC is Crosby and that's reaching. yeah they have the twins, but SC has a lot more. Ned will tough to beat again. probably gonna take a perfect game by someone and Ned to not have a good game though. but hey, that's why you play the game. you just never know.
 24.
A most annoying poll that doesn't have an PNG fan in it! Wow! we sure have fallen on hard times! Since there isn't a homer here for me to pick, I'll have to keep it in district and pick a Vidor fan. You are welcome mytwocents!
I believe you can nominate someone to be added to the list. ;)
 25. as I have said before, you never know what the off season brings. kids get bigger, faster and more disciplined. and yes some do the opposite. however, from what I have seen and heard, these young men are already amped up about next season. as good as Q was and as much as they loved him, they are out to prove that there were actually 10 other players on the field with him. it is my opinion that we will be better than expected in 2013.  you know as well as I do coach C, the level that these young men are capable of reaching. after all we have been apart of their football careers in some aspect their whole lives. a lot of the players you listed(and I agree with the positioning) have been chomping at the bit to get their chance to show what they can do. now that time is here. will, determination and a flat out desire to win make for a great combination. couple that with good coaching and game planning and the results are favorable. don't sleep on the 2013 Pirates! I believe that
